A lovely welcome from reception staff, champagne on arrival which made you feel relaxed and on holiday from the get go after a long journey.

I know it’s London but my word it’s expensive. The breakfast was good but also very costly.

Location

The location was fantastic - easy access to everywhere we planned to go.

The room was dirty. The window ledges, bedside table, table, the bedframe - all surfaces were THICK with dust… which indicates that it had not been cleaned for a very long time. I emailed reception (I suffer from severe anxiety in situations such as this, so a non-contact way of communication is all I can manage). I did this immediately upon checking in. I did not receive an email response back - this was unusual as I had been back and forth with reception via email and they had always been quick to respond. This makes me believe it was read, but ignored. The next day, the bed was made by housekeeping, but no surface cleaning was done - I had to go out and buy wipes to clean the surfaces myself. I’ve stayed in so many Radisson hotels before, and this has never been the case. They’re always spotless. I did mention how filthy the room was upon checking out and was given £100 off the bill - which was appreciated, but in the grand scheme of things, we still had to pay an extortionate amount for a room we barely spent any time in due to it being unclean.

Only the Location

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Bloomsbury, and I have to say, it was a really disappointing experience. Right from the start, things went downhill. The worst part was the breakfast service. The lady who attended to me was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She made me feel like I was there for a free meal, which was just humiliating. I've never been treated like that in any hotel before, and it was really upsetting. The room was another huge letdown. It was nothing like the photos on the website. It was much smaller than I expected, with a terrible view. On top of that, it was so noisy because of the neighbors, the AC vent, and the water pump. I couldn't relax or get a good night's sleep at all. Overall, my stay at the Radisson Blu Bloomsbury was a big disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of better options in London where you’ll be treated with respect and actually get what you pay for.

Hair on the bed on arrival. Second bed had no sheet, pillow case or Duvee cover. After requesting this to be fixed 3 times it was done at 8pm on our second night. Like staying in accommodation in a 3rd world country.

Great location, fantastic room, quiet and comfortable. Lovely bar and restaurant.great staff, very polite and helpful. Would stay here again when visiting London

Rooms were nice. Staff was very helpful and gave me a nice room. Also a short walk to tube on Tottenham Ct Rd and quiet at night. Great gym as well with treads, spin bikes, free weights and machines.

Plumbing was loud.

The facility, staff and cleanliness was superb. The location was great in central London - basically all attractions are within a 15 min walk. Room was very comfortable and quite for such a busy area. Lots of restaurants within a short walk. Only a block from the Tottenham station that has a direct Elizabeth line connection to Heathrow - only took 40 min. to get to the airport.

Was expensive, but its central London, so not unexpected.

Stayed at the Radisson Blu, Bloomsbury on several occasions now. Always a pleasure to stay. Staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful. Perfect location for theatres, restaurants and some of London's main attractions. We'll be back!

I have absolutely no complaints about our recent stay. We're repeat visitors, and if I wasn't happy, that would never occur.

This was our second visit to this hotel as we stayed here last year. We like the location, close to theatre land etc and easy to get to other places of interest in the city. Last time we had a really nice superior room and for this visit we booked the same class of room. However, the room we were presented with was only suitable for single occupancy, the shower room was exceptionally small. there was only one small window looking out onto an internal courtyard with scaffold etc. We went to reception to check if we had been allocated the correct room and the member of staff dealing with our inquiry was excellent in sorting this for us, realising that the room was not of a standard that we had reserved, she showed us 2 alternatives which were far more suitable and we chose one of these, so a satisfactory outcome which we were happy with. The breakfast choice is extensive and really good.

Room was quite basic although the bed was comfortable. The entrance and lobby were much nicer so I expected the room to be more upmarket than it was. Bathroom was great with a decent shower.

The room was very plain and basic for the money.

DIe Lage ist sehr gut. Einige Mitarbeitende waren äusserst hilfsbereit (andere dafür umso weniger). Das Bett war sehr bequem.

Die fehlende Hilfsbereitschaft einiger Mitarbeitenden; bspw. war ein Mitarbeiter bei der Rezeption offenbar zu faul, den eingestellten Koffer selbst zu suchen und schickte uns in den Kofferaufbewahrungsraum um unseren Koffer zu finden (geht's noch?). Das Zimmer war sehr klein und das Duschen in der Dadewanne unbequem. Auch funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht.

The staff and our room was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and we had a room upgrade as it was a special ocassion. The view was great and the lovely slice of birthday cake bought to the room was a lovely gesture. We ordered extra pillows and they were bought up to our room very quickly.

We found the breakfast very dissapointing. Every item for the cooked breakfast was only luke warm and no egg choices, apart from scrambled. The hash browns had clearly been there quite a while as they were barely warm and hard. For a Radisson, this is not what we expected.

Pretty good location for the price of the room. We could easily walk to many sites and if we had been given the Transit Map when we checked in versus the last day (both our & staff’s issue) we could have taken better advantage of the subway in getting about. Since i was traveling with my daughter it was great that we could each have our own bed! Many other hotels only had single bed options.

Unfortunately the first room we were in had a major water issue when the room above had either a toilet or shower problem - it was raining in our bath and we had to be moved - but not at 5:15 am when the rain storm started! The night manager was very nice about the situation and said he would have gotten us another room but i said no to moving in the middle of the night.

Top-Lage, das Britische Museum liegt in Sichtnähe und nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt ist man in Covent Garden und im "Theater-Viertel". Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind schnell erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist tadellos und reichhaltig, der Service sehr aufmerksam. Obwohl zentral gelegen, sorgten die guten Fenster dafür, dass kaum Geräusche in das Zimmer drangen, es war herrlich ruhig. Ein wirklich großes Bett (2 Meter breit und lang) mit guter Matratze und einer sehr großzügig bemessenen Bettdecke trugen zu einem sehr erholsamen Schlaferlebnis bei. Fazit: Genügend Platz und kein Kampf um die Bettdecke. Der großer Flachbild-Fernseher war sehr angenehm zum Schauen. Safe, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Kaffeekapselmaschine rundeten das Serviceangebot ab. Jeden Morgen/Tag wurde uns Mineralwasser ins Zimmer gestellt. Zahnputzbecher, Tassen und Gläser waren nachhaltig und keine Einwegprodukte. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine Überraschung war der große Regenschirm ☔, der im Schrank hing und als Geschenk 🎁 des Hotels für den Gast ausgewiesen war.

Leider bestand das Bett auch noch aus einem massiven Holzrahmen. Dieser war so dunkel und stand so weit vor, dass meine Frau diverse Male davor gelaufen ist - mit der Folge von blauen Flecken. Hier wären abgerundete Ecken sehr empfehlenswert. Den Föhn hatte sie im Bad erwartet, er lag aber im Schrank vom Schlafzimmer, war sehr groß und schwer. Der Stecker passte nicht in die Steckdose im Bad, Haare wurden daher im Schlafzimmer geföhnt. Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig ist auch, dass selbst in einem Hotel dieser Stern-Klasse keine Toilettenbürste im Bad verfügbar war. Der Grund ist, wie wir erfuhren, um unsachgemäße Nutzung 🤔 zu vermeiden. Die entsprechende Reinigung der Toilette oblag daher dem Reinigungsservice.
