The buffet was not existing any more, quality of diner OK, portions some what small.

Good location, near ships & opposite an attractive lake which was a good to walk the dogs. Easy to find the hotel, room adequate & usual standard to be expected from Campanile. Not at all like some of the reviews I read, the only dealings I had with the staff were at reception when I checked in and she was very friendly and helpful.

Could not get out of here quick enough. The only nice thing was the lake to walk around opposite the hotel. The receptionist was friendly.

The room was dark and dingy. No ceiling light only beside dim lamps. I can only gather that this was to hide the poor state of the room and it's furniture. The WiFi was non existent. And I mean non existent! I wasn't able to work at all, and my job is mostly through Chrome browser. It doesn't require a high bandwidth. There was a flyer advertising Happy Hour in the bar between 5-7pm each day, when my partner went to the bar to enquire about it, the staff said they'd never heard of it before. The walls are so thin that our dog stayed awake anxiously licking throughout the night which in turn kept us awake. I don't blame her though. We could hear people go to the toilet and even toss and turn in their bed. And there was only TWO plugs in the whole room... One by the desk and the other IN THE BATHROOM! What hotel in this era of everyone using technology only has one plug in the main room?! Complete rip off.

The beds were comfortable and clean. The receptionist was excellent.

The building was very old and unkempt. The wifi did not work. The bathroom door would not close. The secure outside blinds were stuck. The restaurant was closed. Apparently it doesn't open at weekends. Our visit was a Saturday night.

The food was motorway standard but sadly prices were not. It is past its best and the rooms need a real tidy up. We had dogs but even so it is of a poor standard. Shower and bathroom were good but the rest needs attention.it was a convenient location and as I said, they take dogs.

Disappointed that dinner wasn't available ,but we did find a good restaurant that wasn"t too far away.Breakfast was very nice with a good choice..We have stayed here before and will stay again as it's convenient for our onward journey to Spain.

After a ten hour we arrived to be told we couldn't get a meal as the restaurant was closed. We were unable to buy a drink until 7 o'clock and when we tried my was told she couldn't get what she asked for which was simply a vodka and coke. We had to leave and go elsewhere. Poor way to treat customers.

Our room was a little worn around the edges and the wifi a little slow but minor considerations given the location and price.
