Probably the worst night sleep ever. The pillow was literally a Boulder, no give at all. Had to discard it and use a tiny cushion in the end. The mattress was so close to the wall the mattress protector and bed sheet could not be tucked in resulting in them ending up half way down the bed. We tried multiple times in the night to remake the bed. I'm not blaming whoever cleans the room but whoever thought such a big mattress in such a small space a good idea! The bathroom was also so small you had to virtually walk sideways through the door. (I would not have mentioned that probably if I had had a good night's sleep though)

The room was beautifully decorated, super clean and had all the amenities required. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking and the hotel was easy to find. It was also super reasonably priced.

The only negative feedback would be that the pillows were too firm, however we informed the reception staff upon check out and they valued our feedback and informed us that this was because they were brand new.

Quite place

Its an old property. Specially small rooms' baths are not comfortable enough.

The room was nice and spacious, great for a family.

Ran out of some food and drink at afternoon tea and at breakfast. General hum of damp in the corridors and in the bathroom in the room. Swimming pool area is dirty and changing room is very small. Paint on ceiling above the shower is hanging off. Hotel needs some tlc. It feels like it's being ran on minimal budget and from calling the day before to check that we could arrive early and swim to arriving early to find out you couldn't swim til 1pm (due to pool being shut for swimming lessons) to pre booking afternoon tea to being told we didn't have a booking, then we did but it wasn't the right time, to then oh yes we have the booking but you need to pay more to sit in the pods to oh no you don't need to pay more... the disorganisation was terrible. I would not recommend this hotel.

really nicely decorated, the room was really big and had a lovely bathroom. the bed was so comfy it was excellent. there a swimming pool that's open for children until 9pm and it has a sauna. lots of grounds and garden for children to run, very family friendly.

the only down side to the place was that it was grubby, which was a shame given the property is so nicely decorated. we had to ask for our room to be cleaned when we arrived because the floor was dirty. there was a lot of litter around the grounds and corridors were dirty. it didn't spoil our stay and i would recommend the place for a great night sleep.

Hotel was great, food good, atmosphere good, plenty of parking, nice grounds.

Bar closed early, never known this before when residents still in. There was over 10 people there too. Bar snacks or nibbles needed late on which we couldn’t get. Maybe a vending machine or something might have helped?

I was there for work had my van Broken into had around £3000 worth of gear taken out of van and Damage. Hotel was good and clean

Having access to a pool, the amazing views, the rooms decor, suitable for little guests , having access to lovely breakfast and other food options

Some areas of the hotel are not 4 stars worthy. just a few improvements; funiture with stains in the bar and lounge area, I felt uncomfortable, and i felt bad for your staff. The pool area could be kept a little cleaner, and the hot tub was not in use, also needed cleaning.

Lockers in the pool changing room didn’t lock up and the jacuzzi wasn’t working
