Gym was a little sparse. Needed a few free weights, bars and benches to be comprehensive, and in keeping with the general standard of the rest of the hotel

Bathroom is a bit dark

This is a wonderful hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the rond point des pistes and 100m from the centre of town. Rooms are well sized, comfortable and warm. Boot room is spacious and well provisioned. Breakfast has plenty of variety and choice. Staff are very helpful and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. I've stayed in a lot of ski hotels over the years and can honestly say this is hands down the best one yet in terms of value for money. If you're skiing in Val d'Isere, you will not find a better located hotel with this level of service at this price. Absolutely superb!

quirky design, central location

would have liked a pool

I've stayed before so new what to expect but the public areas of the hotel are always a welcoming place to be.

The breakfast was a little light for me - I had a long day ahead so wanted a few more substantial things to eat

it’s location

my room only had a shower small twin. £1375 for the week. there was only about 10-12 guests in whole hotel I asked if if could have a room with a bath - was told that would be another £300 for the week. Really what bad PR esp on a week where they would have had so many empty rooms. Also at breakfast - scrambled eggs - stone cold - Cooked and left in bay Marie’s for such a long time. also boiled eggs available. I asked if I could have an omelette. - Again was told there is extra charge for this. Really - if there was a small pan and stove there I would have made the omelette myself with the eggs on the table! The little extras they could have done especially in a very quiet week to enhance their hotel and brand and the cost to them would have been nothing.
