The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Great shower and tea coffee and extras in the room. Breakfast was very good and plentiful

It was right on a busy main road and the noise of the traffic was constant. Had to keep the high windows open due to the room being so warm, not warm outside, and the fan provided was just as noisy.

Helpful staff at reception. We required a room change. The staff helped to get this done immediately. Very good service. Good clean rooms. Adequate parking. Half a mile from City centre.

Breakfast shuts at 09:00am. Most places nearby are 10:00. Breakfast staff vary. 1 smiles - the others don't know how to!

Clean and bright. Bed very comfortable. Car park good to have. Staff helpful but reception not always available even if bell was rung.

My breakfast. Only just warm. The over cooked chopped up omelette pretending to be scrambled egg was disgusting. The other 3 breakfasts of friends was good.

The location of the hotel was right on a main road which was off putting.

Walking distance to city centre. Good free carpark. Nice clean restaurant for breakfast. Lovely sized room.

Was far too hot. Extremely small bathroom. Lacking in atmosphere but a great place to stay if you have other plans in Exeter.

The check-in and check-out processes were very simple and convenient. The room was small but cozy. Breakfast was hot, tasty, and in sufficient quantities.

The amount of noise filtering through from neigbourng rooms was somewhat annoying. For some unknown reason, the occupants of the room next to mine locked each other out. The entire fight and drama took a few minutes but was enough to spoil my night. While I appreciate adherence to rules, I was a bit disappointed when a couple who confused the weekend breakfast times with weekday-schedule were not served for coming at the very end of the service time.

The location is excellent for the city centre and easy access to the A30. The hotel looks like it has been recently refurbished and has good quality furnishings, as well as being tastefully decorated. The breakfast was well presented and tasty. Access to and from the hotel at any time was easy.

The single room is not huge but had everything I needed. The safety clip on the blind kept coming apart, which was annoying. The soap could be in a dispenser, rather than plastic packaging, to allow for it to be more environmentally friendly.

Nice cooked to order breakfast. disappointed there was no food at night or an open bar. The hotel had lovely decore throughout. Mattress did not fit the bed base properly, sharp corners. Hot water took a little while to come through.

Sharp corners on bed. Small double bed. No snacks or open bar, but there was a pub down the road.

Close location to the city, particularly the Quay. Free parking.

Our room was too hot, even with the window open and the radiator turned off. Not a bad thing in the winter but my trip was during a hot spell.

Great but is should have booked a double rather than single.

Road noise

St Andrews is a very clean and well presented property, situated within easy walking distance of the quay and town centre. There is a large car park to the rear which is a real plus point. Staff were friendly and helpful, so all in all a very pleasant stay. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel.
