Great location & facilities. Clean & tidy with a kitchenette - great for long stays. Breakfast was also included & was a great continental spread.

No air-con but a fan was provided.

Location was perfect

The room we had wasn’t as good as we’d expected - one bed didn’t have an electric blanket and the fan heater was faulty so we would get a spark whenever we turned it on or adjusted the heat

The location was great for us as we needed to be near the skating rink, lots of options within walking distance, takeaways, cafes, bars, activities for the kids, beach etc. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were lovely and very helpful. We did have ants move in on our second day but the receptionist very kindly, quickly and easily moved us to another room :) There is a well-stocked kitchen if needed for self-catering, and coffee, a selection of teas, hot choc, milk, biccies, shampoo etc supplied.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn't reliable, I was hoping to get some work done as we had travelled all day, but couldn't get it to connect, and as we had arrived out of hours the reception was closed so couldn't check.

Bed was not as comfortable as I would of liked.

Lovely lay out and setting, staff were so patient and helpful in all my dealings with them. Liked the small glass bottles of milk. Toiletries, beverages plentiful and good quality. Extremely clean with good quality and plentiful towels and bedding. Windows that opened, easy to use TV (no netflix thank goodness)heated towel rail, large bathroom and a heater that worked well and was easy to use. The crockery, and utensil were clean and good quality. Able to park car near room. To be picky the hall carpets were slightly worn and about 5.30am on one of the mornings they was quite a loud conversation going on which seemed to be taking place outside the building close to where my room was it lasted about 20mins. Otherwise it was quiet. I would like to gave a very special thanks to the gentleman (on night duty) who answered my cry for help to let me in as I had mislaid my key at 10pm at night. He insisted I got in out of the cold, and tracked a key down for me which included ringing someone who answered his call immediately. He let me in and we found the "mislaid key" in my door lock! He was so patient, pleasant and helpful. So thank you all at the Beachcomber I would definitely stay there again.

The driving entrance was not immediately visible There were 3 coffee cups not 2 The TV was on a lean There was no coffee plunger despite a plunger sachet being available The condensation was bad in the main window There was a mouldy residue in the bathroom residue

Tiny room advertised as studio , had to remove bedside table in order to access fridge and there was no table to eat or work on / no wardrobe The wing I was put in had a dark creepy entrance through unlit dining area , not nice for a solo woman. Love staying in the main motel over the years , but had to pay to upgrade to a decent room for second night ,so sadly won’t be going back .

Excellent location unfortunately we had some car trouble but the staff we super helpful in assisting us to get it sorted.
