Great location staff fantastic

Some money could be spent fixing some things and paying the staff a decent wage for their excellent service.

The staff were amazing. Greg at the front office when we arrived at 1am was simply wonderful and made the start to our holiday perfect. It then continued this was until we left and so I booked again before we left to return. Central, stunning views, clean tidy and nothing was an issue for any of the staff. Highly recommend.

Facilities and furnishings could use an upgrade. Our sliding door would not remain on its tracks.

very run down - rooms were not as booked - bed linen marked/stained -issues with meals 2.5 hour wait in dining room for evening meal no spa/ well ness enter as advertised - panoramic roof bar closed until further notice. communal areas - furniture stained - casino on ground floor - smoking penetrates to all communal areas and lower level floor bedrooms.

Well maintained and clean. Friendly staff and great food. Good location on the water near the centre of Port Vila. Great views. Air conditioning. Short walk to the ferry to Iririki.

Be aware there is a mark-up of 3% for payments by credit card.

View and pool. Nice cocktails and clean room. Even tho very out of date

Smell of smoke. We tried to get pool towels three times from reception but there was never any available so we just used the room towels which were stained and thread bare. Breakfast service was bad due to chipped or dirty cups/plates also the quality of the breakfast. ie stale pastries,toaster not working properly,cheap juices and service not great. Tables were never set with cutlery/cups. Most of the guys on the front door were not friendly at all. Some wouldn’t even acknowledge us. Definitely not grand as the name suggests.

no air vents in bathroom . floor and walls stayed damp. No working TV

The wifi connection was really bad. Can't watch YouTube smoothly.

I offered 200vt to Craig staff member for tips and explaining that I am new so I don’t know how much it is. he told me it was around 2 cents so I ended up give him a$5. but of cause now I know how much is 200vt. lol

Hotel is clean and tidy. View is nice and feels safe.

We had the most insanely difficult time checking in. The couldn't find our booking because apparently they 'dont accept bookings from booking.com on Saturday and Sundays. The biggest problem is that we had our booking accepted and had the confirmarion etc. Luckily for us and another couple who were in the same situation we managed to get the last two rooms in the hotel. It took over an hour for both couples to check in and it still seemed difficult. Unfortunately they had no remedy and nothing set in place. I think it is insane in this day and age a company that relies on bookings cannot and does not accept bookings on the weekend.

The hotel did their best in granting my request for rooms on the 5th Floor for myself, husband, son and daughter. what a great surprise to have a lovely vase of flowers waiting for us in our room, and they managed to give us the same room as we had on our previous visit. Great Customer Service. The hotel staff, irrespective in which area they work, were friendly, attentive and always willing to assist. We will definitely be returning.
