The Breakfast provided by Villa Ortensie was amazing. We had fresh bread and cheese everyday and owners were were caring and looked after us. They had asked earlier whether we had any special request and with us being vegetarian this was well catered for. The owners of the property were great. Our flight was cancelled and after booking on much later flight than initally planned we arrived at the place close to midnight. They had stayed up and drove us to the B&B so that we dont get lost. They often stopped by to have a chat and made us feel really at home. You arrived as a guest and the way they treated you make you feel like you are part of family. Everyone is so caring, and they gave valuable tips that not only saved us money but also helped us explore the area a bit more as we saved valuable time. I highly recommend this place.

We couldn't fault this place. It may be tricky to find it on the first day but they come and pick you up from the car park which helps with the unknown part.

lake view is not 100 percent accurate. at least from our room we had to make quite an effort to see the lake. room was very cold (late September) even with heating on. check-in/-out times could be more flexible.

The village is charming, the views are amazing, the house is cute and cosy, homely feeling. The staff is very friendly.

The check-in hours are very tight, the narrow street leading up to the hotel from the parking lot is not ideal for a baby jogger. A TV on the room would add comfort. The alcohol prices were exaggerated.

Everything was perfect! The welcoming, the staff (nice, thoughtful, caring), the Villa itself and our room. A perfectly remodelled and decorated Villa and rooms. Most wonderful views of Lake Como. It was by far the best place and accommodation experience we've had! It's like you're in a movie really. Our room exceeded expectations. We could live there forever! Plus you get total privacy and the most amazing views. The service is also really nice. The breakfast was fresh, really good (we just loved the croissants and the yogurt) and was ready for you very quickly. The Villa is located in the village Molina, very cute, small, characteristic, yet offering a bar and some restaurants with wonderful food. Nonetheless, the Villa also offers you dinner if you so decide. To reach the Villa, grab a taxi or bus to Molina's piazza, and then walk. The walk is worth it (however, we recommend you travel lightly to make it easier. Although, Caroline and her team will also help you if needed). We FOR SURE, will come back, just for a chill vacation, to stay in the Villa le Ortensie, read books, catch the sun, hike a bit, and enjoy Molina. WE LOVE VILLA LE ORTENSIE! Thank you so much!

This villa is simply perfect. The staff make you feel like you are being warmly welcomed into their home and the views are second to none! Breakfast was simple yet also perfect. The bed was super comfy too

Quite surrounding and breath taking view.

Charming place, relaxed atmosphere and hosts made us feel very welcome and cared for. We had a lovely evening and delicious dinner with live music on the terrace, with other friendly guests. There are helpful books and maps of the area. Beautiful views from the bedroom balconies where you are surrounded by trees and bird song.

Accept the kind offer for help with luggage from car park! .Quite a climb, and no visible signage when on foot through the village..very good exercise.

This B&B is extraordinary!!! A small villa set in an unbeatable spot, with an incredible sight of the Lago di Como. The rooms are nicely decorated, the breakfast (that you can even have in the terrace) is delicious. And the charming attention of their staff was so unique. Thank you Caroline and Silvia!!!!

The place itself, the atmosphere, the quiet, the magnific view, the pitoresque village, everything blends perfectly to turn on you vacation mood. The awesome view of the lake is there from the moment you open your eyes, in the morning, to the delicious breakfast, until you fall asleep. And the transportation service from the parking lot to the villa is an experience one must not miss. Would definetly come back, anytime!

The hospitality and kindness from staff felt more like family. They went above and beyond for us on several occasions. The owner has an amazing eye and attention to detail - everything was beautiful and thoughtful. The breakfast and the stay were our favorites on our honeymoon. Parking was easy. Will stay again!

Villa le Ortensie and its staff made our long weekend at Lake Como unforgetable. The antique building, the comfortable rooms preserving the ambient of old time, the garden, the view over the lake was giving for us a lot of additional value while we roamed around the lake in the daytime. Good breakfast, very kind, helphul and informative hosts. The perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Lario, one of the most beautiful countryside of the world.

Amazing villa in a quiet area with absolutely breathtaking views of the lake! It is a little paradise in Lake Como. Caroline and her team were also absolutely lovely people. The room is large, clean, conveniant and the small balcony a dream come true ! Would recommend having a car to visit the lake - although the villa is a short 10min walk from the closest parking, an absolutely lovely walk within the small village - we felt having a car was way easier than waiting for busses.
