Bel hotel, belle chambre pleine de charme très bien décorée, lumineuse et accueillante. Les wc sont séparés, belle salle de bains, bonne literie. Hotel au calme et très bien situé dans le centre-ville.
Pas de mini-frigo dans la chambre, petit-déjeuner très moyen, ascenseur étroit et lent

La posizione centrale per visitare il paese
Avevamo prenotato una camera doppia nel l’hotel e al momento dell’arrivo ci è stata assegnata una camera in una unità esterna, altezza strada. La camera era sprovvista di aria condizionata ma dotata di un condizionatore portatile il cui tubo di scarico (rotto) impediva di chiudere la finestra che dava sulla strada e di tirare le tende per garantire il buio durante la notte. Il risultato: è stato come dormire in strada, rumori tutta la notte, macchine parcheggiate davanti alla porta che illuminavano a giorno la stanza. Personale non cordiale che non ci ha avvisato della condizione della stanza nonostante il prezzo elevato.

RAN DOWN ROOMS AND NOT PROPERLY CLEANED ... THERE WERE COCK ROACHES IN ONE OF THE ROOMS

Excellent Location, Everything available within 5 minutes, great base to enjoy Biarritz, Nice clean Cafe/restaurant on the ground floor
Carpets need to be replaced by laminated flooring/lvt. Doors & window frames need proper maintenance/replacement

Nice hotel, clean and friendly personel. Didn't take breakfast, but it sure smelled nice. Parking right in front of the hotel if you are lucky, with payment of course.
Otherwise, there's an underground parking couple of 100m further.
The air-conditioning in the room seemed to be not working properly. But it was very hot during our stay...

Generally looked tired and jaded. Also directly opposite a night club where people remained until approx 7am talking on the pavements until the street sweeper machine arrived, so very noisy.

The location is quite good. 5 mins walk to the sea. Staff is welcoming, allowing us to check in at 11:30. Quite and comfortable room.

The host Meave was just the happiest host, ever helpful and all the staff took plenty of time to chat and make us feel welcome. Such a cosy, warm and funky hotel with beautiful interior to the rooms too. The perfect central hotel in Barritz just opposite the most delicious Basque gatteaux bakery ,shops with only minutes walk to the beach .I felt it was very reasonably priced to for such an upmarket area.

location was good and great staff
plugged drain in shower, missing hairdryer, very thin pillow and only one pillow, brown stains on bedding, looks like someone’s blood, uncomfortable mattress, leaking shower and a very strong smell in a room causing headaches, not sure if it was a cleaner or a bug killer solution.

Fantastically well placed hotel near all the main attractions and the Grande Plage. Quiet, comfortable but small rooms and a working lift.
Very friendly staff and a very nice bar area.
The rooms were tired and the aircon was very feeble.
The bathroom was clean but looking a little tired too.
Despite the "do not disturb" sign, the cleaners came in both days and turned the bed, replacing the towels.

Considering we were over a bar, the room was quiet. We had a corner room with a nice view of the street. While we didn’t have breakfast , I had a great tomato-basil-mozzarella salad one day for lunch. Considering how difficult it is to get a. decent room without paying a lot, I think we did rather well. Very clean and good staff. It was a good location between the beach on the Atlantic side (you have to go down a bunch of steps to get there) and the more placid cove beach toward the west where there are many restaurants on the street to choose from. Note the cove beach has small stones getting into the water.

The art decor themed rooms, and public places in the hotel are very well done and give the traveler a taste of the 1920's. The location of the Hotel Cosmopolitain on Rue Gamebetta is excellent as this is only 150 meters from the beach and has a variety of cafes, galleries and shops.
The bar of the hotel Cosmopolitan is an ideal place to seat with a drink and watch the world go by. Breakfast is also served here and was quiet impressive.
The staff were very helpful
Certain areas of the bathroom are looking tied and could do with more maintaine and re groating of tiles.
