Very nice and cozy boutique hotel, much attention to detail (decor, daily water refills, stacked minibar, coffee et.), great location with all main places of Biarritz easily reachable by foot. The staff was very accomodating and attentive (including a nice welcome champagne though I arrived after closure of the reception), and the breakfast was delicious, although the variety could be improved a bit.

High prices, but this is very typical for Biarritz in August and compared to other places it was a great value-pick!

Absolutely beautiful, charming hotel in excellent location. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Reception staff finish at 9pm after which there is a number to ring for any enquiries, but the personnel answering were not able to help with my quite basic question about the ventilation/air con in my room. Perhaps some room for improvement there.

Beautiful old maison, spacious and bright rooms with big bathrooms and great views out towards the gardens. Lovely breakfast room and terrace where you can sit and have a drink in the evening. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend, will stay here again.

We loved this place! Set in a beautiful old building that really fitted nice with the charm of Biarritz. Big comfortable and quiet room. Very helpful staff.

Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful especially when I needed to see a doctor. They arranged for us to go to an SOS clinic out of town. The room was quiet with a pleasant aspect. Lovely decor throughout. The bed was large & very comfortable. Bathroom toiletries were classy. We had breakfast in the breakfast room. Nice selection of foods provided. We would rate La maison du Lierre at 10/10. Highly recommended.

as it’s an older building the noise travels so I’d advise ear plugs but this wouldn’t put me off coming back.

I had a great stay at la Maison du Lierre ! Team is super friendly, they gave me a lot of advices to visit the beautiful city that Biarritz is. My room was cosy (balcony with garden view) and super clean, + the location is the best. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Thank you la Maison du Lierre

Homy atmosphere, comfy place, exceptional location. Walking distance from everything, and close to the market place the heartbeat of the city. Great staff, always smiling and available.
