Un hotel rural precioso en un entorno inmejorable, perfecto para desconectar, pero también un punto de partida ideal para hacer senderismo etc. por las sierras de Castril o Cazorla. Piscina genial y muy limpia. Las instalaciones en general muy limpias y bien cuidadas. Cenas personalizadas en la terraza (incluso sin gluten para mi pareja que es celíaco) y el personal muy atento y amable.

El geco verde was a lovely getaway in the midst of nature. Perfect for quiet recharging. Ilaria was a wonderful host who gave us helpful and interesting recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our host was fantastic. He provide an excellent service and was a great help with organising activities. The location is well off the main road and very peaceful. The house stands on a small hill which means you get excellent views of the surronding scenery. The stars are amazing on a clear night.

Maybe the evening meals could have been a bit more substantial.

The location was breathtaking and the villa beautiful. Ilaria the host was always on hand to help organise activities such as kayaking and Segway. Beer and local delicious wine were always available at low prices and the food way utterly delicious. Beds had duvets sleets and blankets which was great. Overall one of the best holidays we have ever had.

Although there was tea coffee and milk a kettle rather than a pot would have been easier and more environmental. More self service at breakfast would he has speeded things up when lots of people came down together. Not great options for buying things even food for lunch locally and all shops close at 1.00 but this is the Spanish way!

Need to careful on the track to the hotel from the main road. It’s the price you pay for the tranquility.

Very friendly host, nice food, generous breakfast and very quiet location with amazing views. If you are looking for an isolated retreat, this is your place. The room was modern and very comfortable.

A noisy generator located in the premises turned on during the night and early morning, waking us up. I had to close the window, which in August made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. As advised in the description, the country road to the hotel may not be suitable for all cars. It was a 3 km drive from the main road, at some points dangerous for low standing cars.
