Stratosferico! Hotel semplicemente superlativo. Vale ogni euro speso.
Doccia spaziosa. Accappatoi e spugne morbidissimi. Non manca davvero nulla. Ottima la colazione. Bello e caratteristico, tutto in legno, il ristorante Karoline. Bellissima la sala relax annessa alla reception. Personale molto gentile. Wi-Fi perfettamente funzionante.
Tutto perfetto

Incredible location. Comfiest bed I’ve slept on.
Some staff were incredibly uncoorporative. We requested a transfer out of the resort on our last day and were told to try hitch hiking first as staff are busy. Don’t have the seaweed pasta!

Location, attention to detail, good food and friendly staff!

Loved the room/suite! Wonderful style and charming little fish-village.
I have been here one time before, in the end of september. A much better choise- less crowds and still veeery nice. Tourist taking photos of you in the window and when sitting on the deck is not very relxing. The spa was awesome- but should be open until 23.00.
The pric is also very stiff.

Great location.
Rooms very small and very highly priced for what you get

Beautiful location and great room
Parking was a little challenging but fine. Would have liked more varied food options

Nusfjord is an exquisite location run by charming team of genuine people. Being off the beaten track it's relatively peaceful but does attract some day visitors.
The hotel has worked very hard to restore numerous buildings and protect the site heritage. The interior design and attention to detail is charming and it's great to see how the local community are integrated into the business. Together they really have "saved the village" which is commendable. Even the original bakery has been reopened after 75 years by the daughter of the original owner.
We had a great day's fishing with Bjorn who grew up in the village and fished the waters for many years, a genuine character who brings the venue to life. As does Vanessa in the restaurant, who really understands what first class hospitality is all about.
There's also plenty of other activities including a spa, a gallery, the original general store and some wonderful walks round the cove.
If the restaurant menu was as interesting as the wine list this would be wonderful.
Sadly it isn't. The choice is very limited and doesn't change, with one special starter for an entire week which was disappointing.
So while the culinary standard is high, the combination of meagre portion sizes, lack of choice and top end pricing eliminates the attraction of staying here longer than a couple of nights.
Unfortunately due to bizarre licensing laws you are not permitted to take the reminder of your elegant bottle of wine out the restaurant to enjoy either at the outside seating or in your room...albeit all on the same site. This is not true of wine purchased at the pizza restaurant.
Breakfasts are however very good, beautifully presented on an old wooden fishing boat as the centre piece of the stunningly restored restaurant.

Great location. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was great. Always lots of hot water. We ate in the bar and found the food to be tasty but a bit pricey compared to the restaurants in Solvaer.
Our room was at the back looking onto the carpark which was not quite what we had imagined when we saw the pictures on the site. Not a massive problem, but perhaps something to flag as so much is made of the scenery in the marketing.
Unlike other places we stayed in Lofoten, the curtains here were very thin and so recommend you bring eye masks if you are there during summer to block out the light at night. We hung blankets over the windows which worked very well.

Overwhelmed by quantity of mails and sms

The living room was vey beautiful. The decoration was fine
The badroom is very bad. Very narrow. Almost imlosible to get off the bed. No closet. No mirror. No place for suitcase. Shower glass door very dangerous not marked and caused near accidents.

This was a splurge stay during our trip around the Lofoten Islands, but I think it was worth it! Our renovated fishing cabin in Nusfjord was hands down the coziest place we stayed in the Lofoten Islands. The bed was comfortable with tons of pillows, and the large bathroom with heated floors was luxurious. We visited during a super cold/rainy spell in late May, and were happy to have such a cozy spot to dodge the rain.
Being located at the end of a quiet fjord, your only option for dinner really is at the on-site restaurant. The atmosphere here is lovely, but it's quite expensive (even by Norwegian standards), and we found the food to be just okay. But, we knew going in that this was our only option unless we wanted to drive for a while to find food!

Absolutely stunning location! The cabin was so comfortable and well designed. The bed was very cozy and inviting.
I enjoyed the traditional fare but felt the food lacked flavor in comparison to other places I stayed at.

the area is very nice and secluded with the charm of historical construction.
Part of the resort is still unfinished, which means that your cottage is likely to be surrounded by workers, their cars, and their noisy smelly tools.
What is the point of staying in a (supposingly beautiful and peaceful) Norway fjord to be annoyed by men at work ?
Moreover the heating system of our cottage bathroom was down when we arrived and we have been proposed to move to an other cottage only the day after.
The experience currently offered by this resort does not match its pricetag.
Last but not least, be very cautions with the wording “sea view” when booking as many cottages offer a view on the harbour only

Turning a small fishing village in a dramatic setting into a ‘hotel’ took a lot of vision and the owners deserve a lot of credit for having such a vision. The result really does work so staying here is definitely worth the experience. The cabins are refurbished from the original so do not expect the high-end finishings one would normally get for the price you pay. For example, in our cabin, both the bedroom and bathroom were pretty small and there was no shower stand door so the bathroom floor got wet and the bedroom door could not be be opened completely which blocked the entrance to the bathroom. Design flaws like this, however, may be seen as quibbling when one considers the tough lives the fishers must have had generations ago in the exact same space.

Great location, very charming grounds and cafe. Our room was very clean and comfortable. They have a great selection of this stocked if you want them. Everything provided is really top notch. The breakfast was very nice. On-site activities available. We stayed in four different locations and cabins during our trip and this was both my husband and I’s favorite. Great sauna/spa area available without needing to pre-book and pay.
We did the fishing trip and both the captains were really wonderful, but it was a bit short. They had said three hours but we were all the way back, docked, with gear off and leaving with at least 30 min to spare and we still paid full price. The trip itself was really great and I would recommend it without question, it was just disappointing since it is costly to do.

This place is spectaculary pretty. Everything from the location to the fine details in the rooms are exceptional. Lounge is warm and welcoming with a small kitchen area for making hot drinks etc. Fully stocked mini bar, dining area, large hallway for shoes, coats etc and very comfy bedroom with large en-suite.
Bathroom has underfloor heating and products are all Molton Brown.
On site restaurant is beautiful with views over the water. Buffet breakfast with good variety of choice. We used the spa and pub and both were also fantastic.

Onboarding, access to the spa, location in the center of the small village with Charming view
With a bit vertigo, path between sauna and hot tube is a bit difficult on foot.
May be add a ramp access to go down to the hot tube from the cabine and from the hot tube to the sauna

Had an fantastic time at Nusjford resort. The view from the cabin and the restaurant were breath taking! And because we went in low season, the price per night was not bad! Stunning little sauna with wood fired hot tubs outside.
Loved everything!
