The room was run down and very 50's motel like. Room had a strong smell of disinfectant. Stairs leading to the second floor were broken and unsafe. No safety latch on the door.

It seems that this hotel is in transition for the better. There is a lot of work underway to update this hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised when I reported a slow draining sink. Within hours this was fixed. Very impressed.
Restaurant in hotel closes at 2pm daily. Need to go to pub next door for food after this time.

Great central location, friendly staff , clean This is a budget motel but excellent value for money. The units are a bit worn but the ventilation and aircon works well and the bed linen is clean and good quality cotton. Ive paid a lot more for much worse !

Location
It took over half an hour to check in because they couldn’t find the booking. The room faced the street & was noisy and dusty. Linen was old & doubtful. Toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet & the shower screen was putrid.

In heart of town
No security our car was broken into costing the need to have car windows replaced even though nothing left in the car no gates on the property or cameras to capture the incident 24 hours reception was no help

Central location
I have stayed here before and the standard was better then. I feel the cleanliness was not good enough. There were cockroaches in the room, the carpet was badly stained, the outside table was left dirty with a full ashtray and the room did not smell good.

Location to Alice Springs town and the facilities of Diplomat were good.
Staff at “Uncles” bistro had a very busy easter weekend, did well and were for the most part friendly.
The attitude of some staff at front desk.
There were a few maintenance issues (no light in kitchenette area, television didn’t work and toilet cistern was faulty), and when the person at front desk was approached about these matters, they were unhelpful and resistant to assist. We did our own maintenance & sorted the television.

It was very secure and we felt very safe as the gates are locked around 4pm with security to let you in and out.
The pub which is on the property has great food and karaoke on a Friday night that’s a lot of fun.

Large clean rooms, secure parking, in the middle of town, and walking distance to many attractions.
Have stated twice now and will continue if a microwave became available.
Having to step into the spa to have a shower, which isn't ideal for those with disabilities.
Also lacks a microwave to heat up brekky or dinner.
Can't park outside the room, but at least has sufficient off-street parking.

my car smashed at the car park (the back window ), didn’t feel any sort of concern from staff seems they’re not bothered . the kettle also was not clean. and my initial booking was not what I booked in booking. com. I didn’t get the room that I booked

Place was disgustingly dirty. Stained carpets, smelly linen and towels, and dog hair on the chair. It would not be considered even to be a 1 star in Canada. The pictures on Booking.Com did not appear to be for the rooms at this hotel.

Could hear locals/people yelling arguing as they passed hotel after night out, my room faced the street so was randomly noisy due to the above.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was close to shops and the centre of town. I really enjoyed the cafe - the meals and coffee were delish! The room was a good size and there was plenty of parking.
The bathroom felt a little dirty and the room was a bit musty when I first arrived.
