Place was extremely clean and much bigger than expected. Had all the cooking facilities we needed and the views from the windows were great everywhere we looked. Walked all around town as the location is quite in the middle of the town and only a 3 minute walk to Spar for food.

Karin is an exceptional host and was very accommodating to our needs. The upstairs apartment was spacious and had a fully stocked kitchen. In the evenings and morning the view of the mountains is spectacular while enjoying a coffee or glass of wine. The apartment is located very close to the marktplatz and shops, so it's perfect for car-free exploring.

Ehrwald was pretty much shutdown due to Covid, but has nothing to do with Karin. In fact, it allowed us to spend more quality time cooking our meals and eating in the apartment.

The view from our appartment and balcony was amazing overlooking the mountains. Also the appartment was very clean, spacious and with 2 bathrooms very suitable for sharing with 2 of our friends. The garden is very well kept and allows for relaxation. And the location is perfect with ehrwald city center at 200m walking and restaurants and shops including a very good bakery around the corner. Also it is close to many beautiful hiking trails. We loved hiking to the drachensee and seebensee. Whereas our friends enjoyed learning archery. We all visited the eibsee and zugspitze. And also the alpsee and sloss neuschwanstein were in close driving distance. It was a great stay and somewhat unforgetable as our friends got engaged during our stay. We definitely hope to return here sometime.
