My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for 4 nights and we really enjoyed almost everything during our stay!
The resort itself is really nice and the property is kept very clean. Even the pool areas are very well-maintained.
Our room was very spacious and the bed / pillows were very comfortable.
Unlike other resorts we’ve stayed at, the drinks at Grand Solmar Land’s End were actually very good (the bartenders did not skimp out on liquor and they had decent liquor options)! They also had a variety of beer options. The food was also decent!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and didn’t mind the short 10 minute walk to get to the marina.
A few minor negatives for some people:
- the food at this resort is expensive.
- the beach on this property is not swimmable (but beautiful to look at!)

We had an amazing time at Grand Solmar! Everything is perfect at this resort. Personnel was great, especially Efrain, Silvia and many others. Grounds are beautiful. Our room was spacious, with a large balcony overviewing the ocean. Food is amazing.

I really enjoyed the peace and comfort of the resort overall. Usually we get a bit bored at resorts after a few days but we were sad to have to leave. The staff, facilities, food, aura exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed immensly.
I think the resort could use a play area like some ping pong tables, pool table, shuffle board, darts, game room. Not for kids but more like a bar environment. Also an area like a cozy library where you can read, play board games, get a coffee. I think this would complete the whole experience of Grand Solmar.

location very good, food good, high price
no buffet

-so beautiful and friendly staff overall
-the landscaping meticulous & lovely
-little grocery store on premises helpful
very reasonable prices for water, beer & hard seltzers
sports bar food was great…especially fish tacos & burger
drinks by pool very expensive $18 & beer $9 at cafe but they did have some specials (2 for 1)
however my pina coladas tasted as they had no alcohol
if you’re going to use Murphy bed…ask for pad for top ahead of time. I was very uncomfortable the first night (very hard) but asked for help the next day and they brought a topper to soften some.
I would recommend they automatically put these on every Murphy bed so no one has to experience a bad night of sleep.

The hard-sell to take advantage of a time-share tour. When we said no the first time, the attempt should have stopped.

The property was just beautiful, we had AI and all the food and drinks were exceptional, we didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived till our departure the staff was always there for you. The housekeeping service always kept our room very nice. There is nothing better!

This resort is absolutely fantastic. If you’re looking for something high end with excellent service, this is for you. The cleanliness was outstanding and the location is wow! The sunsets are to die for. If you’re into fishing, don’t forget to bring your shore casting gear as the beach is a world class location for surf casting.
The price was a bit steep during the Christmas holidays but the value is there.

Best way to experience Cabo
The wifi quality is not good enough for Zoom calls
4.5 / 5.0
Very well landscaped , beautiful outside surroundings/ amenities. But rooms could have been modern . Ocean front , food and closer to marina
Cabo is all about presentation for their hotel - give you free perk but end up wasting your precious more than half day ( so called 90 mins presentation ) that sucks .
Staff were over all okay , had a mixed experiences. Food was above average.
Even thought I paid big time for all inclusive - only domestic alcohol was included . For couple ( chair for two ) , there is no fire pit . If you occupied big table because of fire pit and big crew coming , they may ask you gently to move . One should not have that experience after paying big time .
Not only with Grand Solmar , but all the hotels out there , their own people follow you like a dog , not loose business or to earn business and try convincing hard . Very uncomfortable.
