Our second time of staying at the Frank. Our room as comfortable and roomy.

The colour scheme could have been lighter to help with lighting. Mini fridge on the floor was a bit odd... And curious suitcase rack. Access via very steep stairs were " exciting " .. Really really wanted to be able to lower the temp below 19deg, so it would have been nice to not have the min lock....

Stylish rooms, comfy bed, steamroom experience was amazing after long walks across the city. Free wine, other drinks and snacks which may feel you ver welcomed. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, in the heart of everything and near the canal. Definitely recommended, especially for romantic stays.

During night there was a noise from the dancebar across the street that was waking me up at night. But at the checkout the hotel employees were so kind to give me a present for the inconveniences. Thanks

The breakfast was good for the price and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The so-called Diamonds of the Sea suite is not a suite at all, but just a large room with a small sitting area as well as a washbasin, shower, large bathtub and a small sauna. The only separate room is the toilet. I have not measured the room, but I doubt that it is really 70 sqm as stated. The shower is visible from the rest of the room, and it is particularly unpleasant that the bed is right next to the door to the corridor, which is not particularly well soundproofed. Unfortunately, the standard of the room is not at all what one would expect from a hotel in this price range: Furniture and floor tiles make a cheap impression, and the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was not satisfactory either. All in all, a rather disappointing experience. Half price would have been appropriate for this accommodation, but as it is, this hotel is significantly overpriced. As other guests have pointed out, the rooms are not in the building shown in the photos.

Incredible staying! We were greatly surprised with a room upgrade when arriving and the room was fantastic! Great services and the personnel were really welcoming. Amsterdam is not far, only 15 minutes by train, and the hotel is well-located in Haarlem, close to fantastic restaurants. I will definetely come back
