Marie the owner was v helpful & gave us loads of information & then told us when cassowaries were walking thru property so I could watch & take pics

The location was excellent. Hearing the sounds of the rainforest and seeing the resident Cassowaries was fantastic. It was easy to get to Cape Trib and the Daintree Discovery Centre. The lodge was spacious and clean Marie the owner is very friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent surrounded by the rainforest it felt very secluded and peaceful.

Bathroom very tired, door didn’t close, water tap not over lopsided basin so you get wet as water runs towards you

Marie and Laurie were lovely and the place could not have been cleaner. Was certainly deep in the Daintree and had a lovely aspect. Was basic.... but that's what we were expecting.
Lack of wifi etc... but that is to be expected.

Location was excellent to truly experience a night in the rainforest. Owner was very helpful in explaining activities, wildlife in area, where to visit, where to eat. For a true experience in the rainforest, stay here!

Amazing location deep in the Daintree Rainforest. From here we were able to travel to see all of the Daintree attractions. Friendly staff. Saw a Cassowary and 2 chicks on our balcony!! Amazing experience! Kitchen was basic but allowed us to eat some of our meals at home. Decor was old fashioned, simple and homely. Very clean!

The location. The property had a large verandah with seating. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was also very clean.
No hot water in the bathroom sink. Water had an odd musty taste when we made tea. It was rather dark inside and since it rained quite a lot while we were there we needed more light to read.

It was situated right in the Daintree forest. Marie our hostess was fantastic at pointing us in the right direction with maps etc.

The host provided excellent suggestions and information pamphlets and maps of what to do in the area.
No or very poor WiFi in the evenings but apparently it usually works well.

We fell in love the moment we stepped onto this incredibly beautiful place and the hosts are just as beautiful.
