Perfect view! Perfect host!
Everything was perfect!

the setting
nothing, really.

The location was good as it is set in the daintree rainforest, however with bed bugs this is definitely not a stay to consider and the fact that you are basically camping.
During our recent stay at Coral Sea Views we encountered several issues that future travelers should be aware of:
Bed Bugs: Our biggest concern was the presence of bed bugs. Despite providing photographic evidence to the owner, we were met with denial. (See attached photos for proof.)
Wi-Fi Misrepresentation: While the property advertises free Wi-Fi, it's worth noting that access is limited. It's available for short periods and only in the 'common area', which is an open space plagued with bugs, including cockroaches.
Basic Amenities and Setting: Located in the Daintree Rainforest, the ambiance can be considered natural. However, be prepared for a camping experience. It's not a self-sufficient chalet.
Considering our experiences, I would highly recommend potential visitors to opt for accommodations that offer a clean environment, is self-sufficient, and reliable Wi-Fi.
My stay here was marred by the distress of potentially infesting my clothing, and the bites I've continued to experience since returning home. Safety and comfort should always be a priority, and I believe there are better options in the vicinity.

Helpful, friendly host. Beautiful private chalet. Stunning pool.

Stunning location, private chalets and gorgeous swimming pool

Views, common facilities, guest was here to welcome us
The description is very misleading, cabin was advertised to be 50m2, accommodating 4 people. BUT the cabin only has a double bed inside (15m2 max), the sofa best is OUTSIDE and really not comfortable (even for a kid). 220$ for the night was very expensive for what we got.

It is a fabulous place for a remote Daintree forest hideaway. Out of civilization. Simple and eco like wooden huts. We slept in the sofa bed that is open to nature without windows. Great experience, especially sleeping thru the tropic rains. Vaughn is a jovial and easy-going guy who attended to us very well.

Host lovely. Wonderful location. Rustic accommodation. Loved it. Even came with hammocks! I slept outside the main bedroom on the sofa bed. The 'outside' room is enclosed on three sides but open on the fourth. The sofa bed was beautifully made and had insect netting. Sleeping 'outside' was an interesting experience, I heard nocturnal birds and animals and it felt a bit like luxurious camping. My partner and son were happy with the bed in the bedroom, which also had insect netting. We only saw five mosquitoes but the netting was appreciated.
The sofa bed would benefit from a padded mattress cover because I could feel the springs.

The views were amazing, lovely quiet place. Loved sleeping outside on the balcony on the sofa bed. Best sunrises. Kids loved the bed in the inside room. Perfect place to switch off.
The shower was a little dirty but everything else was clean. But definitely would still come back.

Sitting on the balcony with a couple of drinks overlooking the Daintree, genuinely breathtaking. The simplicity of the accomadation only enhanced my experience there.
Honestly nothing. View says it all

Beautiful location in the Daintree overlooking the rainforest and sea. Hammocks on the deck of our cabin were amazing and it was great to have the fridge in our accommodation also. Vaughan was a fantastic and welcoming host that had useful recommendations for the area
The lighting could have been a little brighter for the evenings but other than that nothing! :) although be aware that you are staying in the rainforest so don’t leave any food out like we did or it will quickly attract bugs

Beautiful secluded location, good for one or 2 days stay. You have a decent sized bbq where you can cook your dinner and a small pool where you can relax on a hot day.

The room was a dream, a perfect jungle treehouse! The views from the patio, as well as from the pool, were really amazing. We woke up early to see the sunrise and I won't easily forget how incredible it was.
There was nothing I didn't like, I can't wait to come back :)

bathroom was pretty dated and inside the cabin was a quite a lot of cobwebs.

the view from the room was awesome 🤩
it was raining heavily the day we reached there so the balcony was wet . mosquitos were there outside but inside the room we have mosquito net . the facility like kettle and coffee sachets was not there in our room but it is available in near kitchen.

fantastic views. an experience.
Dirty, and no security which for women travellers is a concern. Open to the weather and bugs (which are enormous rainforest size).

We spent seven nights here, and it was the most wonderful holiday! The most AMAZING views to wake up to every morning. Quiet, but nature is truly alive here. Beautiful bird calls and insect trills going off all day. Plenty of space, the bed was comfortable and the mosquito net over the bed definitely put us at ease. The pool was the perfect temperature to cool off, and the kitchen area was a great place to relax with wifi.
The host, Vaughan, is genuinely one of the nicest human beings we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and we also had some wonderful, insightful chats. We will miss him!
Nothing at all :)

location was stunning , views incredible
Vaughn was friendly and helpful
the rainforest at night was amazing
would have liked the ability to make a cuppa and toast in our cabin but were very lucky to have the camp kitchen area under the main house to ourselves whilst we were there

Location, location and location. What a view, unbelievable! Spend your day in the hammocks just listening to sounds of the nature and watching over daintree & coral sea. Amazing. The host is very friendly and does everything to make you are comfortable in his chalets.
We found some dust and spider webs. Part of the daintree experience, but in all honesty, that could be cleaner

setting is idyllic and Vaughan was a great host
cooking facilities away from the room was a bit of a logistical challenge with small kids, but we enjoyed our stay very much nonetheless

Our host was super friendly and really made an effort to help us and was always up for a chat. The accommodation was beautiful and had stunning views of the forest (and ocean). The location was also a wonderful, very close drive to the walking trails and waterfalls.
This is right in the heart of the Daintree which is incredible, but be sure to book all your restaurants in advance, or purchase your groceries before you enter the Daintree (there are limited facilities, and it's quite expensive). There is a great kitchen provided with a bbq, so you will have everything to make a good meal - just be prepared in advance!
