Our room at Beechwood Boutique Motel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave us a nice welcome explaining all of the local attractions upon our arrival.

There was a little noise from the room above early one morning, but this thing is to be expected when you have a room above you.

Motel was spectacularly clean, brightly lit and well equipped with lots of amenities. Beds were comfy and staff were very kind. It was akin to staying in a 4 star hotel.

The rooms were slightly smaller than expected, but nevertheless, the place was a steal for the price that we paid!

The room came with a fully equiped kitchen with a 2 ring hob and saucepans as well as the normal microwave.

The location is right on George street, a 15 minute walk to the octagon, shops, and city center. The beds are cozy. Bathroom is nicely updated with heated floors and towel rack. Kitchen includes essentials such as microwave and stove. No dishwasher though. You can watch TV in bed! The other room has two single beds (no tv). We stayed in unit 4. Parking is right outside your door. Hotel clerk was extremely friendly and provided us with a map and suggestions . We drove up the coast to tunnel beach in the morning and other spots like albatross and penguins (penguin colony tour is at night) . George street has tons of food options. Overall a very cozy stay.

The washer and dryer are an extra charge and located in the reception area so you must do laundry at a certain time and pay. This was not mentioned in accommodation ad.

Beautiful room. A little walk from the main part of town but we liked it as to forced us to get our exercise for the day. Highly recommended.

Not lacking anything. Perhaps water to be included as complimentary drink in the fridge? A little bit of distance away from the city centre, but this was not a big issue for us as we walked everywhere and the bus stop was near by, and we also explored North Dunedin while we were there.

We stayed in a fabulous one bedroom apartment. Very well designed and looked newly renovated. Comfortable bed and pillows, nice big bathroom, and the kitchenette included everything needed for self catering. It was quiet but close to the CBD. Friendly managers

The parking was a bit tight but okay

Beautifully appointed lots of little extras eg cheese knife! Big comfy bed , floor heating in the bathroom with extra heater. Comfy lounge easy walk to town centre. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We will definitely stay again

The security light right next to our bed made the room quite light all night.
