Rooms are very spacious, outside kitchen, enough place nice terrace to seat under the palm trees. Till Grande Anse beach by walk, till Plage Perle you need a car. Located in a beautiful park very tranquill with swimmingpool.

This was by far the best place I stayed in Guadeloupe and so peaceful. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent and it's a short walk to the beach. The room was very comfortable, the kitchen/patio is perfect for relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Deshaies is about a 10 minute drive away, there are buses but it's much easier with a car. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful to unwind, then I would highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast buffet could have been organized a bit better (e.g., put the milk next to the coffee instead of in a separate room). The wifi actually worked fine for us, but only in our room and not in the restaurant. We didn't get cell phone reception (Vodafone) anywhere in Deshaies - of course this isn't the hotel's fault, but helpful to know before you book.

Room very smart but some details not practical: not enough storage - no drawers, and room safe only tiny; no seating in bedroom except on bed. Quite a steep walk up to the room.

Very lovely property and super friendly staff. I speak French which of course was helpful, but several staff also spoke excellent English (helpful to my spouse and son who don't speak French). The room was very spacious, with an interesting layout (loft area), and a large porch with a sitting area, dining area and outdoor kitchen, which had a beautiful view. Easy to walk to Grande Anse beach, and a short drive to Deshaies.

Nothing was really deserving of a "frown face." The breakfast was only so-so - we preferred to cook our own and the beds were a bit too firm, but ok.

Sheets/towels not changed during stay. No beach towels. Severe delay in restaurant on new year's eve, allegedly due to loss of electricity but not kept informed.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, and when we had to resolve some unexpected circumstances they were quick to assist with arranging taxis and communicating with professional services on our behalf. The appartment was perfect with a small plunge pool an, amazing view and having the self-catering facility allowed us to be flexible about eating out. Because we were at the top of the hill our appartment was very private. On site swimming pool was good. The hotel is located close to Deshaies and some wonderful beaches.

Access was by walking up a very steep hill. It was possible to drive up most of the way, but due to the steepness manœuvring the car felt initially difficult, although once I became familiar with the space it was easier.

Excellent access for beach

Hadn’t been notified prior to check in that the restaurant was closed and that there was modernisation work, drilling and banging taking place.

Very close walking distance to the beach. Very nicely positioned bungalows, terraced in a lovely tropical setting, a nice pool with dining facilities looking down on the pool amongst the palm trees. The hotel complex had a lot of character and ambience about it. Was easy to walk the 2 km to Des Haies as my mission was to see the location of the tv series Death in Paradise which was a bit of a disappointment as Honore Police station was closed up and looking rather forlorn. A beautiful bay at Deshaies. Staff were very nice. Proper cooking facilities set up as part of the bungalow set up just outside the door under the porch with table and chairs if one chose to stock up in Deshaies.

Very expensive to get there if one does not choose to drive as there is no public buses that go as far as Grande Anse. Takes almost an hour to get there from the airport and traffic heavy on the two-lane road. The hotel does breakfasts only so again, if no car it is almost impossible to dine out re distance of restaurants and the area is virtually pitch black at night. Expensive to stay at the hotel

If you don't speak French this will be a tough vacation for you. hopefully you as adventurous as I am. The locals and staff were very welcoming.

Our room (duplex suite) was gorgeous, I especially liked the big balcony facing the gardens. Great breakfast and great location next to Grande Anse beach (the most beautiful beach of Guadeloupe!) Also my compliments to the excellent daily housekeeping. Thank you !

Feedback for the hotel: several lights in our room (nr 30) were malfunctioning. I recommend checking the fixtures for these, especially for the big one hanging from the ceiling.

Staff is super friendly - highfive to Virginie who is an angel. Place looks quite new and with an excellent view - located in a small hill side surrended by nature. Amazing.

Spacious renovated air conditioned bungalow with large terrace in a lovely tropical garden. Well equipped kitchen on the terrace with large table for dining. Tasty breakfast at the restaurant (optional). The restaurant is also opened for dinner. The bungalows are set on a hill so we had great view. (Our apartment was situated to the garden) The residence is located only 5 mins walk from beautiful Grande Anse beach and 5 mins drive from La Perla beach. Also not far from Malendure beach, which is great for snorkeling. Wi-fi very good. Safe included.

In the junior apartment was only 1 big wardrobe with hanging rail, which was ok for suitcases and some items of clothing on the hangers. No chest of drawers where to put clothes.
