The view from garden is more than 100000 stars. Very quite place perfect for chilin. The owner is really nice thank you for delicious welcome drink. Close to beautifull beach, shop, botanical garden.

Everything perfect

We fully enjoyed our stay in this cozy little villa which is furnished with great taste. The view of the bay is stunning and it’s basically situated in the middle of the rainforest with an orchestra of sounds (frogs, crickets and more) starting to play after sunset. The host Martine is very accomodating but hardly speaks any English. That’s, however, part of the charm of going to a French-speaking island and we managed to get by with some help from google translate.

Some of the birds were a bit too close and landed om the dinner table. You have too watch out and not leave food alone.

Incredible view over the bay at Deshaies. The layout of the villa is perfect – the best of outdoor living and indoor comfort. And the location is ideal, far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to get fresh croissants in the morning and great restaurants at night (Le Poisson Rouge is a must). Other tips: La Petite Anse is the best beach for snorkeling; Plage Leroux is great for older kids who like waves; Botanical Gardens are beautiful but get there before 12 if you want to have lunch at the restaurant; the drive to La Soufriere is beautiful and worth a day trip; and the Fort Royal Hotel is a good place to hang out if you want a beach with facilities like chairs, bathrooms, snack bar, etc.)

We had a wonderful stay, but I do have a few suggestions that would make this villa perfect: 1) Provide beach towels and beach chairs for use during the stay. I didn't bring beach towels because they're usually provided in villas we've stayed in before, and we ended up having to buy some. 2) Mosquito nets in the bedrooms. Such a simple accessory but makes ALL the difference – we had a few uncomfortable nights because of bugs. 3) Provide some notes on local supermarkets, restaurants, beaches, and sites of interest – we were pretty much on our own but did discover some great places (see above).
