Good sized room, we were 3 friends and all had enough space to ourselves. Clean areas, reasonably comfortable beds, nice big window to let in the morning light. I liked that it was slightly out of town so it was quiet. Lovely little table and chair area outside the room to sit in the sun and eat breakfast.
The room could do with extra utensils and crockery - some plates, bowls and forks/knives would be good, because then you could actually have simple meals at the motel (we instead bought some paper plates and cutlery from the shops). There should also be a proper bathroom mat as the floor got wet easily after a shower, and we just used one of our bath towels to mop it up. Finally, it would be good to have a few more pillows - one pillow per person wasn't quite enough because they were thin.

What we did not like was a noise that kept coming on ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT AND MORNING HOURS LIKE THE HOT WATER WAS BEING USED IT WAS TERRIBLE. IT SOUNDED LIKE WATER PRESSURE WAS TURNED ONL

The lady who booked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water.
The air conditioner was extremely noisy and the freezer in the fridge badly needed defrosting, hence we couldn’t use it to keep our ice frozen. The door also caught on the carpet when opened. The room itself is in need of an upgrade as a bit shabby, eg. flaking paintwork and missing tiles in the bathroom.

The location was good. Rooms were well back from the road. Check-in was ok using the code system for the key lock box. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
We didn't see a single staff member for the duration of our stay. The facilities looked rundown and in desperate need of some love and care. We stayed in a family room and there wasn't sufficient crockery or cutlery. We had a toaster but nothing to put the toast on!

The room had an odd stench. The poor lady that was meant to stay next door keys didn’t unlock her door and she had to stay in her car with small children as there was no after hours number for staff. very disappointing

no fly screens so no fresh air without bugs coming in. The bugs kept coming inside through the bathroom window which couldn’t be closed. The aircon was so loud. The carpets smelt bad and it didn’t look clean. There was no one to get rid of rubbish or dirty towels.

Great apart from the fact the shower door was broken , and there is a lot of timber rot in the door way when first going in as well as in the bathroom next to the shower.
Also dusty all over.
Other than that the place was better than the last one we stayed at.

Good value for money. A bit dated but good size rooms and easy parking.
Pity about the crop growing in the gutters and the unkempt grounds.

Better car park, not on weeds, dripping gutter in front of door creating muddy spot, air con not big enough for unit, cold tiled floors, constantly running toilet, extremely long wait for hot water to come through, no extra pillows, uncomfortable beds, lack of plates and knives, noisy fridge, microwave hard to get to, nowhere to put cases, shower head too close to wall to use, no spare blankets, sink would not hold water with pop up plug provided and for some reason an ordinary plug was supplied, having to wash dishes in the bathroom sink, only three chairs provided for four people

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. All the appliances worked as they should & the staff was friendly, especially their cat!!
The motel was on the edge of town but wasn't a deal breaker for me.
