This hotel is a true luxury place, amazing apartment, private sauna & jakuzy in the admiral suite. Very well furnished, awesome design and a nice helpful staff. We arrived late, and got permission for late checkout without any additional cost. Very good value for the facilities provided, Felt like a true 5 star hotel.

Very nice view of the lake and a delicious dinner

We sadly didn’t get to enjoy the wellness centre as it closed at 9pm in the evening and opened only an hour before checkout in the morning. It would have been good to have more time to enjoy it after dinner for example or have a later checkout.

I would like to have a weekend in this hotel next time ) Perfect location!

it's a little isolated, dont expect a town - but absolutely fine, for enjoying the activities in the hotel and surroundings.

I like the place since I've been going there as a kid and remember it before the Relax was built and started expanding in the village. Despite that, Dolni Vltavice is still very quiet and secluded from the very touristy places around Lipno. Since this was my third or fourth stay since they opened, I enjoyed seeing the changes since my last stay. Some for better, and some for the worse. We rented bikes, a motor boat, went to the pool, swam in the lake. They have two restaurants, and we found the meals above average, but definitely with room for fine-tuning if they really want to aim at fine dining. You will not get traditional South Bohemian cuisine which is real shame.

My first hotel ever where we had to pay extra for visiting a pool, and they charge extra also for sauna. One of the bikes we rented was in terrible shape, and the motor boat is so week that you want to be paddling to assist the motor. They should have an option for something more powerful. We didn't like that there was no longer other restaurant option in the village. The resort is very disliked by the local residents. I suppose the continuous expansion is eventually going to destroy the pervading spirit of that place. I also didn't like the hotel's reservation system and the service on the reservation line. That's why we ended up using Booking.

The close proximity to the lake was superb. Hotel was very modern and did exactly what it says on the tin ‘made us relax’.

Bedrooms were too hot (no aircon) with only a small fan. Netflix didn’t work on the TV. Room size was adequate but let the impression of the hotel down upon checking in. Could have been better/modern and comfortable.

Very friendly staff, excellent facilities - especially spa part, fantastic food and service 😍 this is one of our favorite places, we have visited second time and we very much enjoyed ourselves - amazing spot to relax.

Good, but not exceptional breakfast, good location, free electric car charging possibility, even with a dedicated Tesla destination charger. Good quality beach with sunbed, and bar on the beach of the lake. Wellness for extra, but affordable price.

All my negative remarks relate the restaurant: Only one coffee automat at breakfast: generating long ques. The outlook of the scrambled eggs did not convince me to taste it. The filling up of emptied food shelfs were too slow, resulting less variety of choices for periods of time (breads, cold collation). There were unprofessional waiters in the restaurant (perhaps summer students???) with no clue about the offered dishes, and bar tender (serving a Martini without ice and lemon and in a wine-glass), but still kind and welcoming attitude, so no negative point on this one, still, worth noting. Nothing negative on the room ant the facilities, though. Airco is not available in this hotel and was not needed during out period (24 -26 C weather temperature) but for a heatwave it might be necessary.

Great location right at a beautiful spot by the lake, secluded enough to be away from the tourist bubble, yet close to all areas of interest. Even a small ferry to transfer bikes across the lake. A kind soul had been thoughtful enough to provide fresh water and some welcome snacks for our dog. The staff was very approachable and received our kids requests for sports equipment very kindly. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the en-suite infra red cabin was an added bonus and thoroughly enjoyable

Theoretically, had we more ambition to catering for ourselves, the kitchenette could have been stocked a bit better, things like a simple coffee maker would have gone a long way. The food in the restaurant was perhaps not quite what we had hoped for, but the breakfast pancakes and fresh fruit made our kids very happy

You have to pay for the SPA?!?! The kitchen closes at 9pm and restaurant at 10pm and there is no bar for afterwards. The grill restaurant isn’t even open. The breakfast and food in general is below average, not much choice. The tables at breakfast are set for the first guests and then not anymore, same as food is not even refilled. The staff is rather unfriendly. The bathroom and the room is horrible, would have needed renovation 15 years ago, don’t get fooled by the nice pics with a good lighting.
