The suites are an excellent size and contain all the things you need for a self sufficient few days in Clare. The supplied wine and chocolates and breakfast items were fabulous. Property was meticulously clean

The property is a little dated now. New carpets and a paint freshen up would help a lot.

The Taylor Suite is 1 of 4 suites. It is well equipped. There is a reverse cycle heater in the lounge as well as an open fire. The kitchen was compact but included a fridge, hotplate and coffee machine (a good quality non-stick frypan was provided). Breakfast makings were provided including bread, eggs, bacon, cereal, orange juice, a large container of milk (to use with the coffee machine)! The bathroom was spacious with plenty of room to put your toiletries. It included a spa bath, shower and heated towel rails. There is a separate room with space for your suitcase and to hang clothes. There was a Chesterfield lounge and an antique table and chairs in the lounge area. There were heavy drapes on the windows. There was a private area out the back with table, chairs and webber bbq. The WIFI worked well and was free. There is car parking on the property close to the suite. The suites are on the side of a hill with a spacious garden below which includes a rotunda and chairs and a separate outdoor swimming pool which also has a larger sized bbq. At the bottom of the garden there is access to the walking trail known as the "Riesling Trail". Approx 200 metres away is a terrific Bakery - the vanilla slice was excellent.

Generous breakfast and the complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Bed and facilities very good

Door to bathroom was difficult to open and close and, being glass, meant the bedroom became light early

Location, view, warmth from staff, little touches like food, chocolate and wine. Having facial wipes and alcohol pads provided were awesome.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and represented a cheap hotel or motel, and it offset all the other comforts
