Peaceful and Tamaulipas escape, still within walking distance of the islands bars/ restaurants. The beach was gorgeous and the villas were beautiful.
Bar closed before 9pm both nights we stayed which was a shame as people were still there and would have stayed longer (advertised open until 11pm). Overall still recommend

The location is perfect! The bungalows are set back from the water to allow for amazing beach setups and the bar/restaurant. Direct view of the volcano!
The property is very outdated. Paint is peeling throughout the rooms. There is a strong mildew, mold smell. The beds are very hard. Staff congenitally is hit or miss. Some staff members are beyond polite and others make it clear you are a bother to them. We will definitely return to Gili Air, but will choose a different place to stay.

The property is very clean and comfy, perfect location away from the crowd. The staff is amazing and service is perfect. Restaurant is awesome, fresh and tasty food.
We had a private snorkelling tour with Slam our captain, and he was very kind and coming with us in the water to guide us and take pictures for us. We swam with 5 turtles and we were never rushed.
By far our favourite part of the trip!

The Bungalow is beautiful, the staff are friendly & happy, the location is far away from the harbour but perfect for us - just as we wanted, the breakfast was very tasty - we had eggs, avocado, toast & jam, fresh fruit & fresh mixed fruit juice was delicious. We arrived on BBQ night - fresh seafood from market displayed, choose own pieces & staff cooked for dinner served with jacket potato & salad or rice was perfect for our Island stay. We will be back for sure. Love this place. Kylie & Joel 🌺🌴👌❤️

Location was the most beautiful on the island, beach was very nice in the morning (on the afternoon low tide). Bungalows were nice and the surroundings were very beautiful and clean.
The staff was very helpful, relaxed and nice. They did everything to make our stay even more comfortable.

What a beautiful property! We stayed in the family bungalow #10 and it was great! The bungalow and the bathroom was in very good condition, I was surprised to read other negative reviews because we had such a great experience. Perhaps some of the other bungalows aren't as new. The hotel grounds are idyllic with coconut palms and tropical plants

No pool and the beach area is quite small. Also the AC broke several times and stopped working but maybe that issue is an island thing. They don’t serve plant based milk optiona and in general the selection for food is not vegan-friendly.

I loved how close you were to the beach and having this and the bar closeby to your rooms was amazing. Also in the evenings they do an amazing BBQ with the local fish they caught and you can see the sunset from the beach as it is on the west side of the island! The views, beach and rooms were all incredible. The staff also so friendly, definitely stay here if you want a nice relaxing few days.

Bungalows need renovation!!! Mold at the walls, holes in the terrace, tapware and toilet seat are old, rusty and loose. Furniture is old. Didn’t look clean. Breakfast was the worst I ever got in any kind of hotel. You don’t even get a normal coffee. Weird, not tasty creations of sandwiches. Cocktails are bad. We left after one night and went to a Hotel close by. We didn’t wanted to stay at this place one more night

The location and layout was perfect!! The staff were so helpful and friendly!! We felt comfortable, safe and welcomed during our stay! Modai took such great care of us during our stay and was so friendly!!
The only thing missing was hot water in our shower. Everything else was perfect!

Beautiful laid back place right on the beach overlooking Gili Meno. The staff were always friendly and helped out with all our needs, everything from an electric kettle to organizing snorkeling or fishing trips. Most nights they have a bbq and you can pick from the catch of the day. Prawns, fish or squid. Very tasty!! There is no pool, but the ocean is right there and it's only hard to swim when the tide is low.
