Very spacious for families, great location by train station

I would recommend to have some condiments like olive oil, salt and pepper for light cooking and sugar for coffee. I don’t usually cook meals while traveling but it is good to offer it for eggs in the morning or light meal.

The location is perfect. You will get the vibe of a cottage in it. In the anytime you can relax to the sound of the river.

a spacious 3 bedroom apartment in wooden chalet house with clean facilities. the washer/dryer was very useful and kitchen was well equipped. nearby to groceries and restaurants, especially liked the cafes facing the river at unterseen which is just 5 min away

We weren't able to meet our hosts but they kept in contact the whole process of check in and we were able to find our room very well. The luggage storage was convenient and the location is super nice. It's near some mini markets and grocery stores and is walking distance from the Interlaken West station. The views were fantastic and I would stay here again during our next visit to Interlaken!

The chalet is very clean, well-equipped and has great views out of pretty much every window. We stayed in Edelweiss which has 4 rooms, 2 parking spots and could accommodate 11 adults. The unit comes with a washing machine, dryer and full kitchen, and our hosts even kindly provided a rice cooker and baby cot on request. The location is fantastic: CityChalet is a 300-400m walk from the Interlaken West train station and there’s a supermarket right near the entrance. It’s on the banks of the Aare River and you can stroll down to the shops just minutes away. Communication was very easy, our hosts are friendly and in contact with us throughout. They also left helpful tips on public transport, sightseeing and local laws, and we had absolutely no problem at all making our way around. Highly recommended 👍🏻

The host Mr Matt Horn was super attentive. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet in person. The house is quite big for the 5 of us but definitely very comfortable and clean. The instruction for check-in was straightforward and Mr Matt Horn let us to be in the house earlier than planned. This was our second stay in Swiss and I definitely love CityChalet better since it has dryer easier for us to get our laundry clean and dry. The kitchen is also well equipped. Shops and eateries are easily accessible and walking distance from the house. There's also parking lot reserved for us with no extra charge.

an experience to stay in a swiss historical chalet. it meets all basic requirements.

The compound consists of few different blocks of chalets with lower and upper floors units and you will only know what you get when you arrived literally. wasn’t listed clearly at booking site. pillows can definitely be improved and shower facilities with only bathtubs n second floor units are definitely not for elderly. And it will take up to 8 hours to heat up the entire unit so it was very chilly when we first arrived the chalet, may need to turn on heating device before guest arrived. It is also important to indicate or offer options to guest if it’s convenient for them to take the upper unit of the chalet as the stairs can prove to be challenging. And also ground renovation works are going on without prior informing. take note that luggage room comes without lock, at your own risk.

We had a very comfortable stay at Citychalet. Its a beautiful, spacious apartment with everything you need. We are a family of 6 and we had loads of space. It’s within walking distance to the town, restaurants and shops and a easy drive to get to the mountains. Would highly recommend

Everything was perfect the only thing I would change is to have a couple of large mugs for us English tea drinkers!
