No breakfast , but then again you can go for a little walk in the breathtaking surroundings of Neustift im St.

Local family runs this place. The owner: Loni adds salt to cosy atmosphere of the pension. Comfort of space is enriched by balconies, terraces and mountain brook runing just behind the building.

Receive phone call in really early morning Cash only. Nobody at reception desk unless calling. No fridge, no coffee. Understandable because this is budge single room. No elevator (for my room location)

The accomodation is situated on a strategic point for people who like to be in the middle of the Alps and have an active and adventurous holiday. Alpenschlössel is close to supermarkets and other facilities with a nice view of the little town Neustift. For thrillseekers it is also a cool spot: within 100 metres you can take action for rafting, hiking, climbing and paragliding. Our apartment itself (comfort appartment) is big, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, a small but modern kitchen, a cosy Austrian looking living room and a lot of hiding space for your luggage. The accomodation was very clean, every day our towels and blankets were changed by friendly cleaning staff. A bonus is the wellness area in the basement where you can relax with sauna's and a turkish steam bath.

Our apartment was situated at the backside of the building where the view is less exciting than on the frontside. The opening time of the sauna area is only from 16:00 h - 19:30 h. Because of the presence of the wild river Ruetz behind this appartment, there were some insects like flies, wasps and spiders at our balcony (this could be only a problem in summer)We asked for a babybed for our youngest son, but it wasn't there at our arrival in the later evening. (the next day the babybed problem was fixed) One day there was a problem with the boiler so nobody has hot water for at least 24 hours.
