Our VRBO stay in Lake Tahoe was nothing short of spectacular. The property seemed miles away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by beautiful pines but a short trip to everything you need at King's Beach. The accommodation itself was impeccably maintained, with cozy furnishings that made us feel right at home. The kitchen area had all we needed to make snacks and meals and the stove and fridge are brand new. The layout provided ample room for our group, ensuring everyone had their own space to relax and unwind after a day of outdoor adventures. One of the highlights of our stay was the easy access to outdoor activities. We enjoyed snowmobiling, hiking around the backcountry at Spooner Lake and photos at the scenic spots around all sides of Lake Tahoe. Additionally, the property's proximity to local attractions, Truckee and dining options made it convenient to explore the area. The VRBO host was incredibly hospitable, and extremely knowledgable. We said more than once we were happy we took her advice! The attention to detail and commitment to ensuring a memorable experience truly set them apart. Overall, our VRBO stay in Lake Tahoe exceeded all expectations. From the stunning location to the comfortable accommodations and exceptional hospitality, it was the perfect getaway. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable vacation.

This was a wonderful and cozy cabin, perfect for a weekend in the snow! It was a great size for the two of us, had a well stocked kitchen, great heating, and a beautiful forrest right out the back door! Linda was very friendly and responsive, greeted us when we arrived and gave us some tips on where to get good sledding in but we never saw her otherwise. We already want to come back and stay again.

Linda was great, and the property is even better than described. Such a comfortable place to base out of for a week of hiking and sightseeing. Easy walk to the beach and miles and miles of trails right out the back door. Absolutely a perfect stay.

My parents stayed here for a wedding. The cabin was well stocked with all the necessities. It was also very clean and well kept. This made the stay very enjoyable and comfortable! The host was friendly and available. This made the stay much less stressful for my parents since it was their first time staying at a VRBO without me. Finding the location and accessing the cabin was all made super easy and it lessened the stress for them. Great place and would recommend!

Upon arrival we were surprised to see the owners house so close. However, it didn’t take long for us to forget that it was even there! Linda, does a great job communicating, and available any time. Otherwise you would never know she was there. We spent most of our time sitting behind the cabin and it felt like we were all alone in the National Forest, which adjoins to her property. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here for our 40th anniversary and Linda had a bottle of champagne and two glasses in the refrigerator waiting for us. We definitely would stay again!

This was such a great spot for me and my fiancé to get away and enjoy the beauty of North Lake Tahoe. Linda the owner was such an amazing person who made our stay very comfortable. Comfy cabin. Might stand for some upgrades. Close to Kings Beach.

We got into Tahoe super early, and we were able to check-in about 4 hours early after calling Linda. She met with us when we checked in and gave us a quick rundown of the property. The cabin is well-equipped and spacious for two people. The sink was clogged when we first came in, and Linda came in to fix it while we were out, which was very kind of her. The thermometer is hooked up to natural gas fires around the house, and it made colder nights very cozy. We grilled outside for dinner and cooked inside for other meals while watching some tv. The cabin is also close to several trailheads which we explored over two days. Unfortunately, we couldn't have wood fires during wildfire season, but the cabin has a gas fire pit that we could've used. We were not allowed to put food or "anything else" down the sink, so we avoided washing dishes. We also would have appreciated aluminum foil for grilling some veggies, but we were fine without it. Overall, a lovely, quiet, and well-equipped cabin at the edge of the Tahoe National Forest.

Lady was almost harassing with consistent calls and texts. Lied about issues. It’s a little hunting cabin that hasn’t been updated since your great Grandmom lived there. Possibly hoarders yard was full of trash and debris.

Our host Linda was awesome. Prior to our arrival she made sure that the driveway was cleared of snow and that the path leading to the cabin was packed down. There was deep snow packed all around the cabin, but the cabin was warm, comfortable and had everything that we needed. There is a grocery store and nice restaurants within a very short drive from the cabin. The views from a drive around the lake are breathtaking. The highlight of our trip was snowshoe hiking through the freshly fallen snow in national forest behind the cabin. Absolutely beautiful. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

One of the best vacation houses we staid in. Small but very cosy and hearty. The house has everything you need at the stretch of your hand.

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Linda's cabin. Linda warmly greeted us when we arrived and was close by in case we needed anything, but really the cabin does have everything you need. It was a winter wonderland we won't soon forget. The gas stoves that heat the cabin (they look like wood stoves but you don't have to tend to them) made for a very cozy ambiance as the snow was falling. Linda was very kind and put out snowshoes for us to borrow as well. I would recommend 4WD or AWD in the winter as snowfall this year has been substantial. We hope to return soon. Thanks Linda!

Impressive comfortable Forest Cabin just-off city amenities. Blocks to lake, directly on forest trails, fully appropriated relaxing warm beautiful accommodations, clean, cozy, scenic. Very Happy week getaway for romantic couple. Could not be more delighted

Very cute cabin right on the edge of the woods. Only a few blocks from downtown Kings Beach. Linda was as nice as could be! Cabin has everything two people could need. Looks bigger online than it really is but it was fine.

The space was comfortable, clean, and warm, with plenty of space and thoughtful touches. Linda was an excellent, communicative host and I would recommend this space to any couple traveling to north Tahoe :-)

A very relaxing, clean and comfortable cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Cabin is 10-15min walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. We loved that it borders on the forest, made for a very relaxing time. Linda, the owner was so easy to contact. Very responsive. We will be back again!
