Location, views and breakfast were all top notch. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was very unique and exceeded my expectations. The room was big, had a nice bathroom, AC, and a beautiful view of lake como. The breakfast was so delicious. They had all different cheeses from their store and homemade pastries. The house had a beautiful terrace, wine and drinks available for purchase. The staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed during our stay. We had a wonderful stay here.

Had a great visit here. Lovely staff, friendly and very serviceminded. Wonderful views from the room and breakfast area. The breakfast was very good. Will definitely come back!

Stunning view of the lake as the property is quite high up the mountain. Our room had a balcony where you could watch the sun go down over the lake. Completely idyllic setting. Breakfast with local meats & cheeses as well as eggs cooked to order along with pastries and cereals made a great start to the day. Fantastic personal service by Alessandro, he helped with luggage, as well as knowing where to go and how to get there, your personal concierge.

Amazing place so traditional and for a moment it felt like a travel in time. The host was amazing super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was super delicious and plenty to choose from including home made tarts. The only thing is busses are not so frequent and car is preferred

Excellent breakfast with scrambled eggs, local cheese and sausages. The host is great and fluent in English. A spaciuos bedroom with a modern bathroom both with an amazing view of Lake Como, The property is kept as it use to be in the past with original props used by the farmers who lived in the property. There is also a small museum, a garden, and the complementary use of a jacuzzi. The breakfast room has a balcony with a breathtaking view.

It is really hard to find something that we didn't like. Keep in mind that the property is located in a very old town with no car access, so you will need to walk for circa 100 meters with your luggage. Free parking is only 500 meters away, and if you want a closer parking lot is 10 euros/night.

Excellent room with the most magnificent view over Lake Como. Great hospitality and an interesting introduction to the place. The breakfast was just perfect.

Location was a bit challenging for us but only because we didn’t drive, so we had to walk along the main road many times to get to places. It’s not the most central of locations

It was perfect - right on the quiet part of Lake Como. Alessandro, Umberto and the staff made our stay unforgettable! The bodega owned by Alessandro and his father is a short walk away, and one of the best kept secrets. Make sure to check with them when you stay!

It is not a hotel, it is a museum :-)

The property was so great and Alessandro and Umberto were amazing hosts. The old world vibe with up to date amenities were outstanding. Highly recommend.

Only downside we found was being about the main road there was not road noise but that wasn’t horrible.
