we got kicked out of the pool at 830pm when the book says it’s open until 9pm. it was the fact that we weren’t allowed in there it was the attitude and mannerism of the manager. he yelled get out of the pool, “Out” “Out”

quiet location, newly renovated bathroom good water pressure, comfortable beds, smart TVs.
nothing to complain about, the position and amenities would be adequate for most travellers.

it looked nice on booking.com site when we booked it and paid in advance
zero customer compassion when all roads were flooded and we were unable to reach hotel but didn’t know until mid morning on day we were due to arrive. Off handed manager said no refund. no partial refund. no credit to use when roads open. it cost him nothing. we didn’t reach the motel. we lost all our money thru a natural disaster.
AND he said if we booked direct not thru Booking .com he may gave had more flexibility!!! horrible mean person.

It's nice and quite, just drove from Townsville to support CT
Went to the Drive Inn to see Avatar.
Spend some money in our own back yard. Had a look around the next day and then headed home again.
The weather was just perfect. We would definitely stay again. Cheap enough and comfy.

It was really sad that it was the chef's night off. the restaurant, famous for its steaks was closed. Problems with staffing throughout regional Australia!!!! We always stay here. Good value, good motel.

The room delivered meal was delicious ( we both had the Green Thai curry chicken.
Everything was clean, shower was hot.
Beds are comfortable.
Prefacing this, I understand that people get busy there is always something to do.However, the initial contact of staff checking it was a bit off putting, the guy was a bit brusque, not at all like the welcome greeting I had been experiencing whilst on the earlier portions of my road trip.
No blankets provided for the beds.
The unusual arrangement for turning TV on…the power switch was in console by the bed….who looks there?
