no ferry and hydrofoils went to Lipari island from Sicily in the first day of my reservation because the strong wind and waves so no possible to arrive. to accommodation. It was not my fault and not owners fault but only person who paid for bad weather was me. I did not want all the money for first night back, but it would be pleasing if owner (sitting in Palermo) offered small discount or any gesture of goodwill, but his reply was only NOT REFUNDABLE. In off-season owner deny access to kitchen / terrace which is offered in the pictures of accommodation, so it was not possible even to boil the water. Host Nabil called to owner if is possible to open kitchen but reply was as usually NO. Host nice, but disappointed from the owner. older funrinture / cracked toilet seat / broken shower door

Mamamia is a sweet little hotel in best location right in the centre of Lipari town. My room was nice, with a small balcony (on arrival I asked for a room not facing the lane as there is a church opposite and you could smell the incense). The staff is very friendly, a bonus is the kitchen where each guest can prepare coffee, tea, breakfast... The price is unbeatable. Unfortunately there was a little issue I noticed a bit in my first and a lot in my second night. I woke up bitten all over, but want to say clearly that issue is not due to cleanliness or hygiene. After informing the staff at check-out I soon got a message that my room would be refunded. Hoping this issue will be dealt with I really recommend the place.

Nice small accomodation. Room had everything needed. I was offered to do the check-in at 9 am in the morning and could leave my luggage in the room for no additional cost.

The host was kind and helpful. Moreover, the location is perfect, as it is at the heart of Lipari with many restaurants and bars. The kitchen is also nice.

Based on how much money it costs, the features of the room are quite minimal. The WiFi was very weak and at many times nonexistent, while there is only one main light in the room, which was not very convenient. Finally, I have asked to have a double bed and was told that this request would be satisfied. However, I was given two single beds which were united to imitate a double bed

We got the room with the rolling door next to the shared kitchen which we did not expect. In the middle of the night 3 people were noisy in then kitchen. Two rude guys that suppose to be guests and one girl that claims to know the owner.

practical and calm location, friendly personal. The bedroom was clean and spacious.

The breakfast was served at a nearby bar. It only included one hot drink and one "cornetto". Further items must be paid extra.

Great location near to the cafes and the life of Lipari town. Use of a kitchen was helpful too as it was out of season so not all restaurants were open. Good island to use as a baze to travel around the other islands. Vulcano is nearby but the volcano is closed to hiking since October 2021.

This place and location is awesome! The owner was very kind and explained everything, also showed very good places to eat and main sightseeing on a map. There is an open kitchen to use, with wonderful view, on the top floor. Room had everything we needed and was very clean. Also the price was unbeatable! We will come back here.
