The rooms were clean and comfortable, and very good value for money. Excellent location. Remember, this is a pub so don't expect a 5 star hotel. We all enjoyed our stay.

great location and lovely staff. Good value for the price :) I would recommend for anybody wanting a comfy and affordable stay.

The rooms are a little run down but this didn’t really bother us as we expected it.

The bath room hadnt been cleaned the tv didnt work ,we weren't left any toiletries or toilet roll and only 2 teabags for entire stay. The walls were soaking with damp and growing mould,despite reporting all this we basically had our money taken and were ignored and for nearly 100pounds per night really disappointed,it was nothing like it looked on the website.I work in this industry so understand how pressuried it can be but couldn't understand why there wasn't any attempt to put things right for us.

The beer.

Everything else. Marstons should have stuck to brewing. The room was only serviced if you had a toe to toe row with belligerent staff. They say they are short of staff. The staff there are poorly managed.

Breakfast times not explained. Lack of communication. Unclean room. Bad smell. No customer service.

Dirty room. An empty loo roll and half used one. Hairs and dust in a stained bath. Bits all over the floor. Musty smell. Drawers dirty and really old lining paper inside. Staff too busy on there phones. Stained towels. No spoon to make a hot drink.

Fabulous location, easy access to other towns, lovely town

Cleanliness of the room and pub in general, we were in the main part of the pub, which is need of a big deep clean, not seen a hoover or duster in a long time. On booking it stated basics such as toilet roll, tbags and an iron, most of these were difficult to obtain if at all.

Bath room was awful. Room hot and noisy
