Location to town and the airport

Very nice people, silence, supermarket few meters away, very clean, all I needed was there, everything worked fine, modern appartment. I enjoyed to walk to the beach everyday (about one hour) and took the bus back, easy connection, can take the bus both ways. Very close to the city's main walking street: coffee, shopping...but far enough not to hear a sound. Wish to come again.

The location was very good many places for shopping, the Spar is just in 25 m. Even on Christmas Eve the was 5 minutes to walk until the minimarket open until 22:00.

The kitchen is not so equipped as we expected. There was an big refrigerator, but the coffee machine and Cooking plate not working properly. In the apartment water is not potable, smelled bad. In 14 days cleaning personell was just 3 time when they change the towels but never the bad sheets.

The person who checked us in explained everything to my guest , not me and I didn't know what to do with the keys or trash. It said here on booking that Drivers license was acceptable but was pressured for my passport on arrival and told I'd maybe have to leave despite formally only asking for one form of ID. also they took pics of my DL when I had already filled in the pre arrival form with all the details for both of us. It struck me as a little suspicious, I've travelled alot all over the world, and the canaries multiple times at various types of accomodation and no one has ever taken a copy/photo of any official and sensitive documents. Hot water was limited , did not get a warm shower long enough to wash myself. Walls were paper thin and could hear people washing dishes next door , I'm just thankful that's all they were doing. Fine for a night but wouldn't recommend long term.

Great apartment - spacious and clean, and a very comfortable bed. The hosts didn't speak English, but we could understand from gestures and a few English/Spanish words what the other one meant, so it wasn't a problem. Location was good - 5 minutes away from a bus stop. They also had a couple good restaurants around them - from the host's recommendations we tried Restaurant Hummus, which was good. But we LOVED another restaurant nearby named Taberna Emilio, which we found based on their excellent reviews. If you stay here, definitely go there for at least one meal. Overall, great experience!
