Beautiful room in the heart of La Ciotat. The room was clean and felt very quintessential French. Loved the cafe below the house too. I will be recommending it to friends. Loved the quilt on the bed too!

Charming place to stay. we were on the third floor so needed to be fit. But loved it’s charm and very French feel. Great shower room amidst the character. Their cafe opposite is great for breakfast and theres a lovely wine bar just round the corner. Great location. Would stay again and highly recommend.
nothing not to like. stairs are steep and narrow but was not a problem.

It was very much in the centre of the town which was wonderful. The beds are large and comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. Very nice rooms, look forward to staying again.
The noise from the bar in bedroom 1 was almost unbearable until about 1 am. Music, chatting and chairs moving made it feel like they were in the room with us. Rooms 2 and 3 were much quieter thankfully. Attention, it's a B&B without breakfast - that's an extra 8 euros per person per day! But the cafe is right opposite.

Gorgeous traditional house in the old town, very quaint and in top condition with antique furnishings and lots of style. There are three rooms on top of each other, one on every floor. all sweet and special.
Fab location to explore the town, option to have breakfast in their own cafe opposite (or in the cafes on the harbour 50m away) and a lovely popular wine bar in the same building downstairs.
Communication of arrival and departure procedures was friendly, easy and comprehensive.
Lovely comfortable bed with crisp cotton sheets
Good shower.
I loved it but please be aware that it is in the middle of a maze of little streets with a bit of noise from people laughing and talking at night and also the garbage trucks and street cleaners in the early morning.

Great location and quirky place
No way to ask for additional stuff (pillows
, blankets…) unless calling the owners

Exquisite stay in the heart of La Coitat in a charming and unique room. Great location, great atmosphere. Updated bathrooms were also a plus!
Nothing!!!! Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at La Maison d'Odette. The location was fantastic—right in the middle of painfully cute La Ciotat, directly across the street from a lovely cafe, a grocery, a shoe store, and neighboring a truffle shop. The old town of La Ciotat is remarkably quaint and La Maison d'Odette is perfectly situated to explore it.
Our only complaint was noise from the wine bar directly below our room. (We stayed on what the French/British would call the "first" floor, and what Americans call the "second.") Two nights of our stay, the bar stayed open until about midnight, playing music, with moderate to loud voices, and very audible furniture rearrangements, etc.
We wanted to sleep with the windows open (the nighttime air was very pleasant) but over the course of an average night, it seemed that maybe ~5 times somebody would zoom by on their loud motorbike, which reverberates quite a bit in the narrow street with large flat-faced buildings going four stories up on both sides, and woke us up every time. Closing the windows made a very big difference for the street sounds and quieted the motorbikes enough to sleep through.

Everything was perfect, from the cleanness of the room to the location ; the fact that this is in the center of the city was very practical. We will come back for sure !
Nothing, everything was as we expected to be, even better !

Hotel was super cute and the room was bigger than expected. Lot of great restaurants, boulangerie and grocery shop just outside the hotel. Bed was comfy. There was some outdoor noises as the hotel is on a very cute little street but it all got quiet before 10 pm.
We had little trouble checking in as the instructions were in french and there is no reception, but found the right code and got help via texts. We would have loved to get more coffee capsules on a second day :D

The decor, the location, the design of the place was simple, austere and nice.
The facilities were not upto the expectation. The basic amenities were sparse like limited toilet paper rolls, no change of towels during our stay, the kettle, coffee maker had dust on it and it was all old inside the kettle, there were two tea bags and two coffee pods. No all the switch were working in the place.

Simple old town class, arrival tea, easy access to port.

Good breakfast lovely cafe

Great location and lovely quant room. French breakfast was a nice touch.
Parking was difficult but I expect that is a common problem on a Saturday night. Cups were too small for coffee.

The apartment was quite nice and „old chic“, we do like this style. The apartment is very central and a lot of restaurants are located near by.
We arrived 45 minutes early and it was possible to check in directly.
The cleaning was very poor. We found hair and dust all over the place, nails in the shower and wet toilet paper on the toilet seat :(
The windows and walls are not really isolated against sound, the street is very present in the room.
The remote control did not work due to empty batteries. We wrote to the host and she explained that there are two remotes. It didn’t fix the problem.
We went out and when we came back one remote was gone. The host wrote that the housemaid checked the remote and that it would work fine.. I do not know what the housemaid checked but the remote still didn’t work. We bought batteries on our own to watch TV…
Next to each side of the bed are two power outlets but only one worked. We realized it the next morning with low bat on the phone…
The next morning the wifi did not work for some hours.. was a little annoyoing since we had to book train tickets.
All in all a nice apartment but very poor service and cleaning.. we won‘t come back.

The china provided for tea/coffee seemed rather delicate and we felt rather anxious not to drop or break it !
3.0
- charming room
- great breakfast from the Cafe across the street
- really nice soap, shampoo/wash gel from the room
- very good wifi
Context: we are at Room #1 (1st floor)
- the sinks are slightly telted so the water doesn't fully drain (leaves a bit stain and smell)
- you hear the street a lot; not ideal for light sleepers

Lovely place, exactly the kind of room you want in a French town!
Personally I love to stay in hotels/rooms that reflect the places where they are located and La Maison d'Odette sure is a charming gem in the the beautiful town of La Ciotat

The location of Maison d'Odette was perfect. I loved peering out of the window to see locals passing by. The room was super spacious (especially for French standards) and very comfortable and clean. Each morning, we picked up our breakfast from Cafe de l'Horloge (the best hot chocolates!) and ate it on the steps of the church in the sunshine.
We were really happy with our stay at Maison d'Odette. Because of the curfew/restrictions it would be good to have some plates and cutlery in the room. I'm sure if we would have asked the café, they would have been happy to let us borrow some!

Large room, well decorated, comfortable
low wifi, no reception
