Pulito e staff molto disponibile! Molto consigliato!

You can't beat this location. Just loved it.
There is no air conditioner - but the fans work fine and at a great price.

The location and the managers

Good location very close to beautiful public beach. The hotel also has a very nice private beach with decent snorkeling opportunities. Spending time on the chairs at the beach was nice. Supermarket is close by and a pizzeria is next door (tip: takeout is significantly cheaper than eating at the pizzeria).
Rooms are a bit dated. No AC but several fans in the room. The fans were quite dusty/dirty and maybe due to the fact that we were a bit a way from the ocean & thus there was not much of a breeze it got quite uncomfortably hot in our bungalow and on the terrace.

Bungalow and seating area is very dark, interior dated, neglected, run down. Sand and insects everywhere no matter how hard you try, insects creeping up my PJs at night (and no, this is not normal in French Polynesia, nowhere on the 7 islands we visited), toilet seat broken (yes, broken, not lose). Worst place in 7 weeks in French Polynesia. Not mentioning the price you pay for this (we payed 19'900CFP per night low season / no discount)...
This review was NOT biased by any kind of weather.

Village Temanuata in Bora Bora is an amazing value for the island. A wonderful central location on Matira Beach to restaurants. Located very near the Intercontinental provided easy access to the bi-weekly cultural dance show and buffet there. The private beach is shaded with a breeze in the afternoon and has amazing views. We stayed in #12 bungalow. It is a family bungalow that could sleep 6 people. Having a kitchen was great! Our bungalow had air conditioning and a hot water shower, as well. The private patios were nice for relaxing, too. Christophe is a kind and relaxed host. Definitely would recommend Village Temanuata to families looking for a great value in Bora Bora.

Great location right on the beach with beautiful surroundings. The room and kitchen had everything you needed.
There were ants everywhere.

It was nice to be close to the beach. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The staff helped with excursions but be sure to check the prices.
I couldn't get a room oceanfront. The hotel is far from "downtown" but the island is big so you can't have everything.
Sometimes the room got stuffy even with the 3 fans on.

We had a great stay at the village. The room had all the amenities we needed and it's located around the corner of the island's best beach. We would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to visit your great island again.
Mauruuru Christophe and all the staff!

We got upgraded to a beach front bungalow which was really nice. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and watching the sunrise from the porch was amazing. we stayed here and at Maitai and would 100% recommend staying here

Location is good, and next to resort amenities.
This beach has barely any beach.
The rooms did not have sufficient fans. It was very hot all day and night. There was also a bug infestation which was literally beyond anything we have experienced as seasoned travelers. Termites and ants were all over the bed sheets, and had laid eggs. It made it impossible to sleep, and to finish our stay there.
We opted to stay at the intercontinental next door, which was lovely, with AC, and is just across from the best beach on the island.
Saving money wound up costing us more, as they would not return our money for an early departure. They told us to take it up w booking.com, or the manager??
Also, very dated, and beds very hard.

We stayed in the bungalow on the beach and it was incredible. There was a lot of breeze so the room kept cool. The location is right next to the public beach and a supermarket which is very convenient. The room was cleaned everyday. We also forgot our camera by accident and the owner has let us known and is shipping it to us. Everything was great!
Everything was perfect!
