The breakfast and hospitality was excellent.

The facility and the bed were exquisite and also with the breakfast. Didn't have to worry about our stay as everything was there to get ready for the day.

Just the entry and how the place was like. It was very different and how we had to come in and out of the place.

Great location and off street parking. We hadn’t been in a B&B before and the experience was great. Host was super nice and gave us great tips for where to eat and go. Ask the host about tickets to the redwoods if you haven’t been!

Leaving aside the mold problem, the room looked really nice and like it had been recently refurbished, the furniture was all new, the carpet was clean and the wallpaper was new as well. However, the mold made it impossible for us to stay and enjoy ourselves, especially given the almost $500 we paid for 3 nights.

The room we were put in smelled of mold really badly (front of the house). We arrived late at night so we couldn't do anything about it and had to sleep for the night. My partner woke up with a headache because of the smell. In the morning we didn't stay for the breakfast (included in the price) and we tried to explain to the host that we could not stay in the property due to the mold and we wanted a refund for the remaining nights and we would just leave. She became defensive and tried to convince us that it was the sulphur we were smelling and when that didn't work she said it was because the heater was on and we should turn it off (in winter). She first refused to refund us anything and I explained that we paid for a service and we cannot sleep in a room that smells of mold and get sick. Eventually she accepted to refund us the remaining 2 nights of our booking. I do not normally leave bad reviews, but her behaviour and denial were appalling, not to mention that she told Booking.com customer service that we were smelling sulphur, not mold. Do not recommend this place. That room should not be offered unless the mold problem is solved.
