The B&B is in a quiet location less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and eateries etc. The room called ‘Seatown’ contains twin beds and has tea-making facilities, TV and free WiFi. The bed was comfortable. The private bathroom is directly opposite, across a narrow corridor and has shower, bath and toilet and is very well appointed. A lounge is available for use by guests. Friendly staff.

The fact that Lossiemouth has seagulls can hardly count against ‘Jomarnic’! Obviously, private bathroom facilities are best contained within the same room but I wasn’t inconvenienced at all.

Friendly welcome, we were tired and hungry , found a good bistro in the town and slept like logs.

Nothing was liked because the B&B didn't bother to accomodate me. I can give only one recommendation: avoid this place!

Upon arrival in the time-bracket given during the booking I found the B&B closed. The telephone number I should call could not be reached because it was obviously wrong. I called the number as given in my booking confirmation. I got an answering machine and up to now, 5 days later, they haven't bothered to call me back.

Everything was good. Rose was very welcoming.

Clean quiet place

Super, quiet location with on road parking. Getting a key at check in time so I could come back later easily without worrying about bothering the owners.

Bathroom being across the hall.

No cooked breakfast available, only toast & cereal.

The only positive thing I can say is that everything was spotlessly clean.

When I got there I rang the bell and nobody answered. I continued to ring the bell. I ended up knocking on the door and peering in through the windows, knocking on them too. There was a key safe to the right of the door and underneath it a note informed me that if I didn`t have the code to ring this number so I did. Nobody answered. I checked the number and tried again, still no answer. I had been sent text message offering me the self-catering apartment for my stay at the same price as my room and I remembered there were two phone numbers on there. I rang the second number. Again, nobody answered. So, it was back to knocking on windows and on the door. Dogs were barking quite loudly somewhere within the property. I really didn`t know what I was going to do. It was after five and I was meeting the others for a meal half past six. Then all of a sudden, the front door opened and a woman appeared, from where I don’t know. She informed me that she was a friend of the business owner and I told her I hadn`t been able to get an answer on the phone numbers I had and that I was late and needed to get in and have a shower as I was going out for a meal at half past six. She mentioned something about an email which I found later on when I had time to look. It had been sent at ten to nine that morning informing me that it was self-service check in and giving me the code for the key safe and it also told me where my room was. Well that`s all very well if you`re checking your emails every hour or so but when you’re out in the field on a geology trip checking emails is not a priority. Lots of people don`t check their emails even daily. That information should have been passed on much earlier than that morning. It said to reply to the email to confirm that it had been received and read so they must have known it hadn’t been. It was on to breakfast next. I asked where did I go for breakfast and was about to ask about times. No breakfast. There is more but I have run out of space.
