The apartment's living room is decorated with elegant old furniture and paintings, and it has a good location, just a few meters from the beach, surrounded by several restaurants, and within walking distance from the center of the Lemon Festival

However, the process of booking this apartment was very unpleasant and it seems that the owner had suspicions of mistrust towards the tenant. After the confirmation, there was an unacceptably high amount of deposits and demand for cash. What was particularly unreasonable and legal was that the bed linen and bath towels were included in the reservation conditions but when the reservation was confirmed, it appeared that the rent needed to be paid for the bed linen and bath towels. Although after a long time of argument and complaint, these unreasonable conditions were canceled, it was found that the room fee included a cleaning fee that was more than double that of apartments in other tourist areas in France. Although the owner of the room also released his goodwill after the check-in by giving a cake and champagne, it did waste a lot of precious time and raised questions about the information of the booking hotel. After checking in, I found that the equipment in this apartment was old and some of the equipment for preparing breakfast was broken and not working. The shower head cannot be fixed and must be handheld. The free bath towels were very old, probably more than 10 years old. There was no quilt on the bed, only sheets and bedspread, which is not a French or hotel bed configuration. The TV has only French program no any other languages's progrem.

The owner of Villa Eden is a great and helpful person. Menton is a beautiful city with nice beaches. Close to Monaco, Nice, Sospel and the Maginot line forts. :-)

Guy was a fabulous host who welcomed us with a magnificent lunch that he had cooked. he was kind to help us with local tips and advice too.

Close to the beach. Livingroom was nice.

Bedrooms were not very pleasant. Host did not accept creditcards, we had to pay cash. On day of departure host had put an extra lock on garage door so we had to call him to get our car out.
