The view from the balcony is amazing. We really enjoyed sitting out there and having our coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and allowed us to check in early. We missed our turn coming in and arrived late to meet her at the gate. She was very understanding and kind. The apartment is located above Menaggio, about an 8 minute zig-zag drive up from town. The beds were fairly comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. The area was very quiet- the only sound at night was the crickets. Even though we had a few issues, the place worked out well for our short visit. We could overlook some of the challenges for the incredible view.

There is a gate to enter the complex, operated by a code or key. Unfortunately, the gate was having problems and only worked with the key most of the time. This meant that we had to walk the key back down to the apartment to leave it there after using it at the gate to the get the car out upon departure. This entailed an uphill climb to get back to the car. The shower did not stay hot during the first shower upon arrival, however it was fine during the rest of the time so maybe it hadn't been used for a while. There is no internet at all, which I must have missed when reading the description. The lights outside are quite bright at night. Closing the shutters eliminates a lot of the brightness, but also restricts the outside air. Even with the shutters closed, there was still light coming into the room. Towels smelled a little musty. The place probably had not been used for a while due to Covid restrictions. No major complaints really. It was great for a short stay.

The view was absolutely spectacular. And the apartment was very spacious. Particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and tennis court

The communication with the owner wasn't great. I arrived at the property and didn't know how to get access. I had to ring 3 times on the phone before I got an answer. I had received a message in Italian only an hour before I arrived, but didn't see it and therefore didn't know how I could get into the apartment block.

Lovely views from the appartement, however the facilities are quite old and worn and the bed isn’t great. It would also have been great to have been made aware that swimming caps are mandatory in the swimmingpool.

This was my second time staying here. The host Marcella was very nice, gave us a tour and recommended different spots for sightseeing as well as ferries to Bellagio. The place is very spacious and parking is right next to the apartment. The view from the balcony is amazing, as well as from the living room and the bedroom. The apartment offers everything you will need. Also the Pool is very close and also has the most amazing view. Thanks again and we will definitely visit again sometime! :-)

Everything was perfect. Nice and spacious apartment with everything you need, looked exactly like the pictures online. We checked in with the hosts daughter and she was very nice and recommended us some things to see and some restaurants, even told us about where to get a nice view while eating or just some cheaper snacks. If we come to Menaggio again we will stay here again!
