Friendly hostess, nice view, clean appartment.

One little downside: lack of available parking spaces.

Nicely sized, very clean apartment for four people; well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The house is nicely located in the center of Wetter; waking distance to 'everything'. The host gave us warm welcome and provided with all relevant information. Thanks a lot!

Finding a parking place can be tricky. The closest we succeeded to find was ~300m distance uphill. You can temporarily stop near the house to (un)load people and luggage. Just keep in mind if your travel by car.

Kitchen had all the pots pans, stove and coffee makers needed to be at home.

Wish it had laundry facilities for a longer stay.

Very nice appartment with quite a big kitchen, a comfortable living room and one bedroom. There is no washing machine, a luxury problem indeed but it would have been quite handy for us as a family with a young child. The appartment was very clean, nothing to complain about. The hostess is very friendly and can easily be contacted via e-mail. We asked for more bath towels and got them the same day. Wetter is a small town that has everything you need: a bakery, several supermarkets, an outside pool and a few places to eat. Various things to do with children nearby: Eisenbahn Museum, Wuppertal Zoo, Wunderland Kalkar etc.

The hostess was a bit strict at first about making noise, seen as it is the top appartment of the building. We kept our 2-year-old as quiet as we could but it's not possible to keep her from running or shouting occasionally. After a few days we started noticing that nobody else was home anyway untill after children's bedtime and our efforts seemed a bit useless. She was also strict about opening the windows. That was not allowed if you're away. Seen as we stayed during a heatwave and tried to find cool places during most of the day, we had little chance to ventilate the appartment and it was very hot inside even after the heatwave was over. All these things do NOT weigh up against all the positive experiences we had!
