Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet room with excellent facilities and comfortable bed. My room (8) had French doors leading to a private balcony area. 10/10. I would stay again for a longer period.

A beautiful, interesting and quirky yet traditional place to stay. we had a warm welcome, ate excellent food and loved our room. we couldn’t ask for anything more.

The staff were friendly, helpful and chatty. The suite we stayed in was superb. The other rooms we booked for family were also lovely with little touches like sweets, bottled water and fresh milk. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and breakfast the next morning, there was an excellent choice and the food was wonderful. Very dog friendly which is what we needed and lots of local dog walking areas. Intending on returning very soon. Thank you for your hospitality.

The roads in the area could be a little noisy but this is not the fault of the hotel.

Amazing Hotel, Pub, Restaurant, Outside areas it's got the lot . The inside is brilliantly themed you really can't stop looking around. Warm welcome and food to die for we will certainly be back .

no milk for coffee in the room service at breakfast was very slow, our instructions were missed and we had to ask for toast which took too long to arrive, no glasses for the juice and no fresh fruit etc - when you are paying £12 for breakfast I expect more

The cleanliness of the room was good but the bed was not made which was poor.

The breakfast was a massive let down. Sparse selection of cereal, fruit which is pears or apples and yoghurt which wasn't available on 1 of the days. We ordered a veggie and a vegan breakfast and both came out with missing items. the veggie sausages were awful and we were not asked if we wanted toast. The cold tap in our room just span round when you tried too turn it on.

Very good food and friendly, well organised staff.
