Provided own breakfast.Hosts did leave some milk and a bottle of wine which was appreciated. Lovely to have heating on which made it cosier.Thanks for that.

Nothing to dislike but on arrival felt home was in need of updating, but once settled it was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property, very clean and spacious. Extremely well equipped with anything you can think of from a fully equipped kitchen, spices, milk & welcome wine in the fridge. Cleaning products boards games and dvds. Very thoughtful host with an eye for detail. Came on second day to check everything was ok.

The only issue we had were the mattresses which were extremely uncomfortable.

Cottage was comfortable and well accommodated. The kitchen is fully stocked of everything you need. The hosts also left some milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge which was very kind. Beds were comfortable, not lumpy like some reviews say. The area is remote but served our needs well. There's lots of villages nearby which have things like pubs and supermarkets if you need them.

The property definitely needs some attention in terms of safety and structural. We were informed on arrival that the water, which comes from a natural spring, hadn't passed it safety hygiene and as such was not to be drunk. The hosts did provide us with replacement bottled drinking water however. The ensuite bathroom had an exposed electrical wire running behind the toilet. My husband being an electrician advised the hosts of the danger, which they seemed unaware of and asked whether this was a problem, to which my husband stressed the importance of rectifying this as soon as possible. This was dealt with quickly with electrical tape, but what should be a temporary fix only. This area behind the toilet where the wire was was dirty so we assume whoever cleans it was aware of the wire and avoided doing this area. The bathroom itself also had mould in the silicone around the shower, especially in corners. The building has several structural cracks, which obviously didn't affect our stay, but are definitely worth noting.

Really lovely place to stay. Hosts were lovely and only next door if you needed their help. Great location to visit different places in the area. Will defently be booking with them again 😊.
