The breakfast food provided for the first morning was great as we arrived late afternoon after a 10 hour drive and appreciated having something for the next morning so we could settle in and rest for the evening.

The couch needs replacing as we sat on springs all the time. Maybe they could use 8 days of rent to buy a half price Nick Scali 3 seater leather couch and then work on some new arm chairs too. There were no toiletries and when you travel from interstate and are moving from place to place having soap and shampoo available is important. I know it's a character property but it really needs some TLC and updating.

Breakfast supplies were very good. Shower good. Bed very comfy and gladly warm with electric blanket as heating did not work and it was COLD! We weren't in Jacaranda Cottage for some reason transferred to Byfield. Would have preferred the location of the cottage we chose.

Gas log heater would NOT WORK. Had two other people related to hosts as they were away try to no avail.

Springs in couch were a bit uncomfortable. Some cupboard doors seemed a bit worn in the kitchen, was afraid they were going to fall off

Lots of space

Some doors didn’t close properly, and the couches felt broken

Breakfast was plentiful and well supplied, lots of utensils and a lovely warm gas fire

Great location and beds and heater

Sofa needs an upgrade (dodgy springs) And no coffee machine/plunger.

Clean, comfy beds, plenty of space for families, friendly owners, central location in Murray Bridge

No dryer

Lovely old but well renovated cottage with 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen well appointed and a lovely worm gas fireplace. Location close to town but very quite. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay. Warm and cosy, lovely breakfast and gracefully decorated. Highly recommended.

After coming in quite late it was so nice to have the fire on and our electric blankets turned on for us! Everything was supplied for a lovely breakfast and the cottage is in a very central location

Good location

Lighting in both bedrooms very dull. Small things like hinges on cupboard doors in kitchen were not fixed.

Good location quiet. Easy to get where we needed to go.

Squeaky floor boards

The space, having the entire cottage to ourselves.

Good location in Murray River. Felt very homely and comfortable.

Close to main shops, which is convenient when you are travelling by bicycle. Breakfast items of eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and bread provided for first day. Excellent hot shower.
