Good location, close to the river and city center, check in was smooth and fast, room was very clean as well as the bathroom. TV was working and had a variety of channels. Nice view from the window.

Since this was my first time in a hotel (literally, I've been booking apartments only) I can honestly say that there were downsides regarding this accommodation, but I was here for one night only.

Clean room, friendly staff... very good value for the money we paid! I'd definitely recommend the hotel! A+

Note that double rooms are large and spacious, whereas twin rooms are small and lower specification.

Upon check in I was being asked to cancel my booking.com reservation, so the hotel doesn't need to pay the commission fee. I agreed to that to avoid any confrontation on the spot, but it's really a dodgy approach to use the booking.com system to attract customers, but then try to avoid paying the fee for that service. When I tried to cancel the reservation in the app (under the supervision of the hotel representative) there was an error (I assume booking.com already suspects something unusual is going on in this property, since they must have an elevated level of cancellations compared to other hotels, since I was not the only ones who was asked to do that - I saw at least two other customers were being asked to cancel their reservations as well). Another dodgy thing was when I made the reservation, the app showed a certain price with a specific discount (and the payment was supposed to be handled by the property). Nevertheless, when I arrived and was about to pay, I checked the exact price in the app again - this time it showed full price without any discount. The discount itself was just a few bucks, so it didn't occured to me at first and I only realized that after I left the city. Not sure if that's a problem in booking.com system, or the hotel was somehow able to meddle with the price even after the reservation had been made an confirmed. Seeing just these two dodgy things makes one wonder what else they dodge when running the business in such a dishonest way. Hopefully they follow the safety regulations, but who knows.. Other than that the hotel was ok, would give it 6 stars or so, but with such approach I can't give more than 1 star. I've never encountered anything like this anywhere else.

The hotel has really good location, just a few minutes from the big park and the river. The room was big and well-cleaned. The price is reasonable.

They tried to force me to cancel the booking so they avoid taxes, even though I kept saying I'll pay double that way.
