It is a superb stay. Spacious room, high ceilings, large and comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and great bathtub and shower, cosy and beautiful design. Quiet. Good breakfast, friendly staff, very picturesque promenade on the seaside, just 2 minutes walk. I need to specially recommend the restaurant just opposite, it is a rare find: delicious food, very good cocktails, superb music and great interior design.

Breakfast set up was perfect, with a different variety of options. I thoroughly enjoyed the full English. The location was also great as it was clean and hygienic.

Noise kept coming from a swinging door in the corridor which was a bit disruptive.

Hosts were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming. Location was spot on and facilities and room were brilliant.

Just 10-mins walk from the station, 1 min away from the seaside. Room was big, bright and spacious, with a sofa, table and plenty of drawers and hangers. Bathroom was roomy and bright (lots of natural light). Bedding and towels were soft, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had many choices, including fresh fruit, cereal and cooked options, toasts and biscuits (fabulous homemade banana muffins!). Leigh and Mark are great hosts, complimentary cup of tea and a beer delivered to the room on arrival - perfect on a hot day.

I was happy with everything.

The facilities were very dated. The breakfast room was very old fashioned. The bathroom had a shower in a bath and a very strangely and uncomfortable my placed toilet. The pub that joined the hotel was distasteful and the bar ads took us through a very odd, unsafe staff area to take us to the hotel. The whole pancetta could do with an update to meet the expectations that were described on the hotel website.
