Phillip was an excellent host who provided many options to do and see. His breakfast was to die for and the location was perfect. You cannot find a better host or location

Phil, the host has gone out of his way to consider our needs , lovely rooms clean premises, natural environs - which is what Magnetic Island is all about. Phil served up a fantastic breakfast and even made us cappuccinos to start the day. he was able to consider our personal situations and guide us to attractions that really suited our needs . Though not on the beach it’s not far down the road and well located to some of the islands main attractions .

Very clean, excellent host,extremely helpful and accomodating, breakfast excellent. Quiet location which was a big tick for us.

Philip was the perfect host, going to lengths to ensure we had a good stay: he drove us around the island, took us to feed the wallabies and made a delicious breakfast every morning

Excellent host, very knowledgeable and willing to assist us in any way to make our stay an enjoyable one.

Philip the host was extremely helpful in guiding us to the best beaches for sunrises, sunsets and swimming (we would have had no idea of the places he guided us to), so thanks Philip. He also prepares a very healthy fresh cut fruit, yogurt, avo and cold meats brekkie, with fresh home chook eggs from hens that literally roam around the lovely gardens. The brekkie will leave you full for the day, he picked people up from the ferry and dropped them off, took them to the best town (Horseshoe Bay) which is easy walking from his property. Basically the most helpful host I have stayed with and I have stayed in hundreds of accom options in my life.

Amazing place set in a beautiful garden surrounded by national park. Loved the chickens and wildlife. Fantastic host who couldn’t do enough to make our little getaway great.

Only down side was ants and geckos in the room.

Philip was very hospitable and did everything possible to make our holiday very enjoyable

The host Phillip and his dog Griffen.The breakfast was always a great start to the day.The fantastic bird life and the privacy of our room.The nearby koalas, and the easy walks down to the wetlands and the beach.We loved it.Phillip was kind enough to pick us up and point out the points of interest.The accomodation is in a quite area of Horseshoe Bay and distances to walk anywhere are easy.The walk over to Radical Bay and it’s neighbor are well worth the time and in my opinion the loveliest beaches in the Horseshoe Bay Area.We stayed a week.Next time we will stay a bit longer.We highly recommend your stay at this bed and brekky will not disappoint you.Don,t forget your binoculars.See you next year Phillip.

Are you kidding?

Phil did an amazing job with the breakfast and recommendation of places to go. He even gave us delicious home range eggs from his chicken to take back to Townsville. The dog Griffin (we call him Gryffindog now) was very friendly and he looked a bit sad when we left the place. The cottage is very quiet and relaxing. Phil also was very helpful when my leg got stung by a hornet (not major stung, but still painful), he gave me an insect medical cream. My leg is fine after a few hours.

I couldn't get the internet working well at the porch, but perhaps it was due to my Mac, not the cottage modem. I could still use my 3G, so that's fine. Oh and there was a small python on the balcony, but it's to be expected in an area nearby a national park

Phillip is a lovely host who goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and suggest great things to do on the island

Warm, Welcoming and Wonderful. From the moment we first met Phillip he was so hospitable, we especially enjoyed getting to know you and some local knowledge.. A few nights away was just what we needed. And our breakfast was delicious! May God Bless both you and the B&B. We felt so comfortable and relaxed it is hard to think about going back to reality.
