Had a great stay here at Alur, really nice accomodation right on the beach, staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Everything was perfect at Alur Homestay. Our host Wayan was a real sunshine and welcomed us warmly with a refreshing banana juice. The location is on the beach therefore you cannot dream of a better sea view in the morning. Breakfast is served at the time that suits you and is simple and delicious. The room is brand new and super clean. With Aircon, towels, soap and hot water shower. You don’t need anything else in paradise. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

The property is new, everything is super clean! No mould, smells, damp or dirt anywhere, the place is spotless and one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed on Bali. Didn’t even see one ant or bug inside the room 😅 Location is great, right on the beachfront with the sound of waves all day and night and the best cafes/warungs are all within 5/10 minute drive via scooter. The breakfast is great! (toast, eggs, fresh fruit, juice, tea/coffee). Owners are a lovely family, communication was great, room is cleaned daily if you like and anything we needed/asked was given or answered. 100% recommend this place if coming to Amed or surrounding areas, we will be back for sure!

The road to hotel was bit muddy because of rain

Bungalow in front of the beach. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Polite staff. A large fan on the roof makes the most of the job against the hot, plus the Aircon worked well.

When we arrived there was confusion. A man told us we had to move to another building instead of that we believed we had reserved. I wasn't sure if I had to trust him or not, but when we arrived at the new one (just a few meters on the left) we've cleared the misunderstanding and everything went smooth.

Direct view and access to Amed beach literally in front of room. In the morning we can see local fisherman activities from room terrace or snorkeling. Tasty breakfast : vegetable omelette on top of toast with fresh cut fruits and papaya juice. Clean bed, shower and toilet.

Limited parking for car, initially we were asked by host to park car on streetside which is dangerous as it is located on road turn, then we asked to park on front of entrance which worked after host made some bikes parking there to be moved around to give space. No alternative choice for breakfast, however the host Bu Wayan kindly helped to order fried noodle for nearby Warung which was then delivered to us, costs 15 kIDR. Amed overall is still ‘dead’, for dinner we went to Sunset point to have view over Jemeluk bay as we did in Dev 2018, the place seems in worse condition than it was : half finished concrete beams planned for beach club are now blocking view to Jemeluk bay. Foor and drink price excessively high as they sell the location (fried rice & noodle each 40 kIDR, small Bintang 40 kIDR, exclude tax 10%).

Good place by the beach, friendly staff, comfy + cozy + clean all in one.. good value of price
