Great property, great location

We celebrated my best friends 40th in Hilton Head. We were moved to this location after our first choice had to have some renovations done. We were very impressed with this location. It was very nice and neat and loved that it was right at the pool. We would definitely book this location again. The check-in process was quick and seamless.

Nice 3 bedroom layout with 3 bathrooms. Water was slow going down in two of three showers but the property manager immediately took care the issue by snaking it clean. First floor condo was convenient with children; no elevator needed. Ocean One Condominiums is close to beach, restaurants and stores; you can walk most anywhere.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at a couple of different units in Ocean One over the years and truly enjoy the property and the location is unbeatable! Unit 124 is beautifully decorated and updated. Not sure if it wasn't clean or if there is something wrong with the air handling system. Everything is damp: the floor (sticky and dirty), sheets, towels, our clothes. We haven't experienced that before in other units. The sheets and towels were old and stained and need to be replaced. There is a fruit fly problem, which we controlled with a homemade trap. There are very few eating utensils so with 6 people staying we had to use plastic and do the dishes often. There is only seating for 4 people to eat at the table with 2 bar stools. This was our only vacation for the year so we just overlooked it and had fun and enjoyed ourselves.

Even though the temperature was good there was so much moisture in the air our things felt damp. Towels, clothes, bedding even sitting on the sofa felt damp. We have stayed in many units at Ocean One and never felt this much moisture before. We also had a 14 month old crawling and toddling about and her legs were black from the floor. Had housekeeping come back and mop which helped some but not sure if the flooring just has a finish that rubs off easily or not. Would have liked a few rugs to walk on for this reason. Otherwise the unit was fine. Well decorated and supplied

Well-equipped space literally steps from the beach! We had a great stay at Ocean One! We loved the pool and the proximity to Coligny Plaza. Our party couldn’t figure out the provided fire pits, but the chairs offered a great outdoor space. There were only four dining room chairs and two bar stools for a unit that sleeps 10 which made meals in challenging, luckily HHI offers so many great restaurants.

Dishwasher probably needs replaced though and freezer ice maker doesn’t work well. Unit was mostly clean, but floors could have been swept and mopped. The patio table was filthy. Light bulbs were out in a couple ceiling lights and tv remote with no batteries (issues quickly resolved by seashore though). It is possible that no one was in the unit prior to us, but someone should come do a quick check of the unit in that case. Check cleanliness, lights, wipe down patio furniture. The cushions on the patio chairs and pretty stained and could use replacement. Finally, and this is no fault of seashore, but ocean one now closes the pool at dusk where it used to be open until 11pm. Also fire pits are not year round and it can get cool in the evening with the breeze from the ocean. These 2 things were very disappointing.

My friends and I were very happy with the layout, size and cleanliness of the rental. It met all of our expectations and we’d definitely choose this rental again if it were available.

We had a great weekend at this property! There was plenty of room, and the condo was in a great location! There was a super nice pool and fire pit area, and easy access to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great about the location. The property is dingy on the exterior, but nice on the inside. The floors were really dirty when we arrived. The pool had been emptied and was unusable and there was significant construction going on, which they did warn us about, but we'll after we were committed. They were kind enough to offer a discount for the pool being unavailable.

This building is undergoing some renovations so while it wasn’t ideal to have an empty pool it was an easy walk out of the back to the ocean. Location was great!

We have stayed with seashore vacations for 12-13 years and they have always been a pleasure to work with. I've been a property manager in NC for 35 years and know how hard it is to stay on top of all the moving parts. This condo has an ideal location, size, layout...BUT it is advertised to accommodate 10 guests yet you can't feed 10 people. There's not enough dinnerware, flatware, glasses, dining chairs or table room. 10 people can't sit in the LR and watch TV together...i.e. sports. The floors were filthy...our toddler's feet were black from crawling, 3 bags of food in the fridge, coffee pot had grounds and coffee in carafe, sand and hair in one bed and cockroaches!!! I understand it's hard...my major concern is that Buddy is paying staff to clean and he is not getting his money's worth. We left the condo much cleaner than we found it. I hope he can find honest people willing to do honest work...and owners willing to step up the condo to a minimal standard. We pay a lot of money to come to HHI and we would like to enjoy our familyand the island and not clean a condo. We'll be back, Buddy. The condo was nicely appointed and spacious. The location is great -first floor, corner unit, very short walk to the pool and the beach. Nice and quiet location, restaurants and shops nearby. Reasonably priced and just what we needed!

This was such a great location , having such a large family it was great that we could all walk anywhere within minutes or less ! The property was very well maintained and worked great for us space wise ! Will definitely be booking for future visits !

This was our family’s first trip to HHI and definitely won’t be our last! Loved our stay at Ocean One! The condo was great size and fully stocked for 7 of us! The location and convenience to everything around us was perfect! Easy beach access and umbrella/chair rentals! Enjoyed their outdoor grill area almost nightly! The pool area was very nice too- just wish the pool was heated- but that didn’t stop the kids!
