La wifi collective ! Très difficile de se connecter facilement même si par rapport au reste de la résidence cela reste acceptable mais c'est le point un peu regrettable.

Emplacement

The apartment is located in the ground floor of former Hotel Corail, next to the big pool, in the Anse des Rochers private village (resort area) with secured and guarded entry. There are many other ex-hotel buildings and apartment houses within the village, having now a lot of different private owners. The garden, the pool and the hotel beach are shared and being sufficiently maintaned, especailly taking into account very low accomodation price. The room equipment was a bit dated, but fully functional and again, surpassing the low price of the stay. Big advantage is the swimming pool with length of 58 meters and ideal swimming depth (and another small one on the right side, for children). Both pools were very clean all the time. The beach is quite small, but has a cozy feeling (during "covid season", we cannot judge the possible overcrowding because of lots of empty houses and rooms in Anse des Rochers). We generally enjoyed the stay and despite some things can be improved and it is apparent that the best years of the whole area are gone, considering the really low accomodation cost, the value we received was definitely higher than the price.

It shoud be noted the sea is very shallow mostly everywhere at the Anse des Rochers beach and with lots of seaweed, i.e. not much usable for swimming, but OK for lazing in the water. If you want to go for shopping, the car is mandatory, as the closest shops and groceries are quite far on foot (45-60 minutes) and local buses are very unreliable. The wifi is only on the apartment's terrace and in front of the building, but that was known to us in advance. Also the last negative point - occasional interruptions of water supply for the whole area - was known to us in advance from the host and we have had two such a situations during one week say (evenings / nights without water in both cases), what was quite unpleaasing, but that's nothing related to this apartment - the whole area was always affected.

the location of the studio is excellent 2 meters from the swimmingpool and 50 meters from the beach. Also there is security to get in and out. People are very friendly. The nature is wonderful. We loved being there.

the beds were not very comfortable to sleep on for two weeks. Some areas of the studio were not very clean, especially the fridge and inside the kitchencabinets. Internet was working for the first couple of days but after that it didn't work inside the studio. The internet was only around the building in the evening. When we were there the oven didn't work, but we didn't miss that. The owner told us on the day of arrival. We suggest the owner to buy proper knifes and pans if you want to cook.
