What a lovely place and gracious host! We had a really lovely stay here for a few days when visiting friends. This guest house is a beautiful thatched building and feels like a home from home. The owner/manager, Thandi looked after us extremely well, was super helpful and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the beds were REALLY comfortable, and cleaned every day. Bathroom and shower were also excellent. I would highly recommend this for a budget, safe. comfortable stay.

The place is located in the safe area and has a lots of amenities typically found in a guesthouse.

The parking requires one to be quite a sophisticated driver.

The friendliness of Thandi was exceptionally fantastic. I felt I was part of her family and home as soon as I walked through the front door. She was so welcoming and gave over and above what I had expected. She surpassed my expectations of any guesthouse I have ever stayed in.

I loved everything and there nothing I didn't like.

Great big bed, exceptional home cooked food and that motherly kindness from Ma Thandi. Overall, it really felt like home away from home. Thanks.

Loadshedding....government related...but there was a generator..

The location, it was quiet. It had the basics, decent beds to sleep in, and plenty of coffee and sugar on hand. The TV/dstv worked. There is off street parking, but not suitable for larger vehicles, as space limited or you risk getting parked in. As a "family room" it's more suited to a family with young children, not pre teen or older, as not much privacy in bathroom situation.

The room could have been cleaner. Hair on shower tiles, dead insects in closet spaceon the shelves and under tv area. We had requested the room with private bathroom but on arrival it was no longer available. No other option was available either so we had to make do..wasn't much else available on the short notice and with our schedule, wasnt practical. But with 2 teenage sons sharing the space with parents... when anyone wanted to use the open plan bathroom or shower..was a bit awkward. The property could benefit from some tidying up and maintenance, security gate lock was loose, not fitted properly into gate and awkward to use, closet room door lock was damaged, previously forced open..so basically useless to store valuables. Sliding door couldn't lock from outside, latch faulty. The room was also very awkwardly laid out, table and chairs against the wall with a couch blocking access. Had to keep moving one or the other out of the way to use table or couch.

Friendly staff.

Kettle was rusted. The room had a weird smell. The bedding was ripped. We booked out earlier than planned abd and found new accommodation.
